Hi folks.
Im new to the forum and would like to say hello to everyone first!.
I am aware that there are some problems with the latest build but i have been completly locked out of the game.
When i double click the eve icon and get the login screen, it basically tells me that i'm using an incompatible version.
I have tried pretty much everythin to get logged on, can someone else please confirm if this is indeed a system glitch or me just being silly? :O
p.s the client login screen tells me i am using version 3.20.34791

If you're having the same incompatible version issues that some of the rest of us are having, one solution that I found is to just reinstall Eve.

Howdy,
I received this error and decided a reinstall is unacceptable.
I fixed the issue by changing the server to Singularity, got an error message about unknown build number, then I changed to multiplicity and it downloaded the patch fine.
Once the patch was installed I was able to go back and log onto Tranquility without any further issues.
Hope this helps others!

The re-installation process worked just fine, thanks Sander.
However, i will keep that method in mind Snowdude and give it a try next time, although the re-install way is so much easier for me to remember .

Yeah this is kind of crap. The whole multiplicity thing is not working for me though. Gotta love how the downloads page has a patch from like months ago, or so it seems. Cant even manually dl it.

I'm a computer moron, first and foremost, so I think m y problem is the same as yours....kinda.
I can't log on to singularity. It says I have an incompatable build number (35183), which I thought was the newest one. Assuming that I messed something up, which I have a knack for with computers, I reinstalled the client (test) and got the same message. It also says that there are no patches for my client.
I tried the whole log on to multiplicity thing but, no-go, they're testing a hot patch or something. Will someone lend a hand. If i dont get on there sonn I'm gonna test the flamability of computer hardware.

Singularity is the Test server, your tring to connect using the current version, that makes no sense. Perhaps you should play on Singularity if you don't understand how to connect to it.
TEST SERVER PATCH DOWNLOAD - WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONNECT TO TRANQ IF YOU DOWNLOAD AND DON'T PATCH A COPY OF YOUR INSTALLATION FOLDER
