Yep. These sorts of battle reports (and even better when posted by the side that didn't hold the field at the end, as they tend to contain less e-peen stroking) are the best parts of CAOD.
I'd imagine most CAOD-*****s would agree with me.

actually that many pods i know its horrible and i just wanted to add don't primary me no more its scary seeing all the red boxes.

Wish we coulda made it there in time. We had a 30 person BC and HAC gang roaming gang. When we heard about you guys we started heading back. Unfortunately we got lagged in the middle of nowhere in deklein for an hour, unable to jump or log in

Travling was primary for at least 2-3 minutes, until FC figured out his tank wasnt breaking and that one of the carriers was repping him. "Travling still primary." moments later "Travling still primary." moments later "They are remote repping him. **** it, engage secondary"
Small funny note to add, a few MM pilots, including the first 2 carriers, ended up on our side of the killboard for friendly fire lol. Also, MM killboard shows alot of people that were on neither side, but got caught in the crossfire :)

sickest tanking I've seen from a bc, tbh. granted we were losing a lot of people by then and focus was starting to drop and you were remote repped, but still... hats off!

As long as the report is reasonably neutral, and properly titled, can't see it become spam problem.
Of course there is the danger of reforming CAOD to something we don't recognize. Like if most OPs were posted by actually recognized participants, instead of third party speculants..

Well to be honest i think battle reports are good, not only to show "look how good we are" but just to show our respect to our enemies that actually do something alse then hide in their station or pos's.
In this game you win and you loose and therefore we all should put out fights here to actually show WHO have the guts to have fun.

I was not able to attend this fight but is fun to see you all have some fun.

Good report there, it's interesting to read even about small fights if it's told well without smack (you're always allowed to smack your own forces) 
As deadduck said, it was sad that we arrived too late, even when people were bumping my mael to get thru all those bubbles around  .
I think we got one lachesis at the end in next door system tho so it wasn't completely for nothing, woot.

a tad bit overexposure towards Tri imo but mwehh we are having fun and are showing it/telling it.
Once again i had to feed a pos before i could burn to m-o...6 jumps out the fight was over :( dissapointed as i was i autopiloted the 14 ish jumps back to ya0...and survived.
MM are a class act alliance and i wub 'm

coad and goonie threads or coad and battle reports.....hmmm tough nut to ***** ...

Sounds like a typical day in M-OEE8. If Tribute is the Wild Wild West, then M-O is Tombstone, AZ.

I think your ship was the last to die, most of our close in support had been killed by your vaga pilots, nice work btw. You were the last one still in the bubble or near it and Trav had point on ya but no web, I come running in get web and point, but then lag shoot me outa range. Alas for you you slowed down enough for the snipers to get a bead on ya, and well you know the rest.
First 20+ man fight i've been in the past 2 months that didn't horribly lag out. It was nice activate mwd and have it turn off again within 15 seconds, not 3 minutes later with me 200kn from the fight

Nice report Ack! I was surprised when I heard you were in Tri. I was thinking "whoa hey.. Tri roams through our space all the time."
Then tonight in RLTG I hear you get called primary first and that was a surreal moment. Sucks we're on opposite sides, but I'm just glad you're still out there. I sort of miss the old days of being in the 'guins. See you on the battlefield and keep up the reports, good stuff.

I got there late but was happy to be a part of the battle. Nothing funnier than flying from venal right behind Tri guys to the same battle but on opposite sides.
