I can see why different agent-factions should give Loyalty-Point access to different equipment, ships and bpo/bpc, but why make such a big difference in who is getting what. For example, Ammatar Fleet has only faction neutralizers and smartbombs to offer as the most expensive ones, besides a crap-load of "standard" implants, while caldari offers faction ammo ? Navy Raven and the like ?
Think it would be abit more fair to boost the ammatar selection abit. Not sure if any other faction needs to get a boost aswell. Anyways, just a thought.

Did you try other corps that are part of the ammatar empire? Different corps have different things to offer.

For faction ships u should do missions for Ammar corps, not Ammatar. It's quite a shame but it's true, and was always so. Even before the reward changes.

The other 2 corps in the Ammatar Mandate are worse, best you can get is a Ammatar Navy Heatsink bpc from Nefantar Miner Association at 90k lp + tags while Ammatar Consulate have the high level carebear hardwirings as their highest (79k lp + 79m isk).
But Grayscale did say he where looking into it, with all the other fringe corps/factions with crappy lp stores. ---------------------------------------- A Guide to Scan Probing in Revelations |

hey hey.
Just to really put the LP knife in even further....
A Storyline agent just offered me an implant thats worth 79,375 LP + 31,750,000 ISK. :/ Normally id say Kerching but i feel it just devalued the LP stores even further.
To the OP Im in agreement and would like to add that Republic Fleet dont have Active Shield Hardeners. They dont exist :( CCP had to make a division between items somewhere and some factions have some stuff and some have others. Theses differences between modules is what makes EVE so great. Dont get me wrong, it fustrates the living **** out of me at times but its these choices and debates which enriches the game further.
Id certainly love a total refresh of item balances and id also love to see the LP store make much more sense : eg. Caldari - Launchers/missiles Amarscum - LaZorZ and Crystals Gallente - Blasters & Hybrid Ammo Matari - Projectiles with Shells Implants - To their respective R&D Corp Specific items : mining lasers to mining corps Gyros and Weapon styles to Command corps Etc Etc.
The LP Store is a little buggered atm but what did you expect from CCP's new features :) Have Faith that it will get "adjusted" SoonÖ

Ammatar subfaction Khanid Subfaction Intaki Subfaction More?
All of them lack faction ammos, modules and ships. And yes, it stink. It's been that way long before the LP store, and CCP has yet to do anything more that saying "we'll boost them, someday". ------------------------------------------

A side note to the whole LP store reward system, the current faction ammo, shield tank related compents, and ship rewards for Caldari corps makes it even less likely that hardcore mission runners will want to spread out and use other faction corps. Since the CNR and missles are the way to go, so to speak.
Being an Amarr and starting my mission running with Amarr corps I enjoy the lack of 100+ in my agent systems, however lasers, faction crystals, and ships I will not fly, suck as rewards. Think I will start flying for a Caldari corp too and add to the lagg issues. |

Sounds like the side factions are on a relatively fast track to getting better LP stuff. * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

More LP does not = best. I didn't think the amarr heatsink was that great. It doesn't appear to be in high demand at least. The amarr/ammatar EANM is really good, and the miner corp has the BPC. They all have access to the LAR, and the tags for that are really easy to get if you don't mind traveling to Amarr.

The problem with cheaper offers is that it's very easy to saturate the market with them, you can't relay on them long turn for steady income. No bpc for the LAR so not the best lp/isk ratio but it's alright.
The best offer where the heavy nos bpcs, that one sold for around 2000isk/lp (after deducting cost for tags etc) but the nos nerf where hard on it. You can still sell for over 1000 isk/lp but the price is dropping quickly. ---------------------------------------- A Guide to Scan Probing in Revelations |

I've gotta admit I'm not very good at tracking prices on contracts. That said, it looks to me like the LAR will get you about 2k isk/lp. The large smartbomb bpc is worth about 2.5k isk/lp, and the EANM was worth something like 5k isk/lp. Saturating the market on EANM won't be an issue. For an armor tanker, I don't see a better faction mod out there.

Well it does seem the price for the LAR has almost doubled in the last 2 weeks since I last checked. Probably due to deadspace repairs becoming more and more rare and expensive.
