RIONNAG ALBA IS TWO YEARS OLD TODAY
Ok, itÆs not that important. As a low profile forum corp, we thought, weÆd like a taste of caod scrutiny for our birthday.
For those who have even cared enough to get to this point, Rionnag Alba means, ôStar of Scotlandö in the incredibly useless, celtic dead language of gaelic. Rionnag Alba was started by a buckfast tonic wine swilling downie (DanMck, CEO) and a stoner (Acepdistra). It all started way back in 2005, when prices were reasonable, and people respected their elders, DanMck set up an office in the toilet of a call center in the central belt of scotland, Airdrie, to recruit his colleagues into playing internet spaceships. From the outset, Danmck conceptualised the corporation as a eutopian society, where everyone could understand your accent, and where he was free to live out his fantasy of william wallace, braveheart, in an internet spaceship. After an incredibly successful few months of recruitment, in the mens cubicle, he managed to recruit 2 people.
After a year of recruiting, the corp expanded, at a mind bogglingly rapid rate, to 17 people. The history up to that point is unimportant, as I donÆt know what it was, as I wasnÆt in the corp then, and donÆt care. Ok, if you require satisfaction to fill up this epic story, they shot stuff, somewhere, with people, in some crappy region, in their crappy ships. The corp started to take off when we joined Ratel Alliance, and went to the luxurious asset rich, region of geminate. After a long drawn out few months in lag/crash fest, that is tde, smashkill bukkakeÆd our system in posÆs. Cheerio station. Ratel moved about a bit and ended up in the glorious drone regions. Anyway, we left Ratel, as some of our friends left and we werenÆt getting enough pvp.
This brings us up to 2007, we shot things hard in the face, in geminate for a while. Mainly around the lxq system, with our mates flashman services. We then thought it would be a great idea to start an alliance with them, and mean corp, and head down south. Anyway, it lasted about a week and it sucked. So we spent the next few months walking about with our trolley carts, homeless, raking about in sansha bins, finding enough shiny metal to buy some carriers and bpoÆs. After doing so, we started looking for an alliance that met our high standards, and having failed miserably in that quest, we joined Triumvirate. Old friends of ours Wreckless Abandon made it an easy switch and we have never looked back.
2 years of eve existence have sailed by, like a jobby floating out to sea. As time passes, old ideals dissolve away, like toilet tissue lapping gently on the shore, at the beach. People come and people go. Though corp chat is dominated by Scots, we now have members from all types of places, even a couple of English ****s. Because weÆre good like that, ya know?

it's been a really quick 2 years !
just want to say a quick shout out to old and new friends \o/
the corp started off as an escape from the madness of ourfirst corp , we set up to start a corp based full of scots.We recruited slowly and started to grow.
We joined RATEL and can never thank them enough for the help and freindship they shown us from over the water 
We love TRI and as a corp today we continue to grow in numbers and skill points.
we started R A gangs in Frigs now we have capital gangs 
would like to thank all everyone we have had some pew pew with as you make the game worthwhile 
special shout out to - flashman services, Feral , vogon , grinfactor , the old DOOM alliance guys and anyone who can remember us !
here is to another 2 years !

yay for us!
been a member of this corp for 2 and a bit months, but known em since i joined ratel... christ thats passed fast.
our history in a nutshell:

dan is the best CEO i know.
yesterday he told me that i wasnt hardcore enough, cos i went to bed when i was stranded alone in a brutix at 2:30 am and he ran away with the otheres and carried on till 6 am :D
