My name is Exo, the show is called Exo's Chill Pill, the perfect set to calm your nerves and zen you out as you mine/pvp/whatever.

Aww...did you guys do away with the listener graph?
I know Funkybacon on Eve Radio would ***** jokes when someone would spam a BoB Radio link in the Eve Radio channel and he'd go look at the listener stats and there were like 3 listeners.
I went to peek and see who was tuned in, but I can't find the graph anymore. :(

and i take it funkybacon was probably looking at the listener stats on one of our nodes, we have five you know.

Our stats aren't public unless we make them public, if you try and look at our server directly you will only be looking at one mirror, so you won't see many.
Actually, the icecast server you use displays 5 concurrently running streams at the same time, and is exactly what is connected to when people click the link. At the time of this post, you have a total of 2 listeners for all 5 streams and a peak of 8 since your last restart. These 5 streams are your broadband aac and mp3, your narrowband aac and mp3 as well as a test stream. This is the only server that your click to play file connects to.
An actual station that uses mirrors would be someplace like SI Radio, where by opening up the .pls file in notepad you can see they actually have 5 actual server mirrors, the pls file directs you to connect to them in a certain order, whereby one being full, will have you connect to the next available.
It is true, I have seen up to 25 people tuned into Bob Radio before, but certainly don't pretend to rule the airwaves like you guys do 0.0, it's laughable.
Even BoB doesn't listen to BoB radio.

Our listen link automatically load balances over five servers depending on the listener count, it will automatically place you on the server with the lowest listen count.
Although I applaud your enthusiasm, we don't use "conventional" streaming technology at BoB Radio, I wouldn't expect an amateur to understand.
I will add that while our listener count isn't high compared to EVE Radio (it does beat SI radio on a regular basis), listener figures is NOT what we're all about, we're here to entertain the community.

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. Looking at the top 10 stats I see a few DJs that have peaked at well over 100 or 200, and everyone on that list has an average of 30-40 listeners. Not as much as EVE-Radio, but definatly more then 2 lol. I don't think i've ever seen it less then 10 even at the crazy off hours.
