Bored with missions?
Bored with ratting?
Just plain bored and need some excitement?
Do you miss flying Frigates, or is that all you can fly?
Frigate Fights: Round 1 is the answer to all of the above.
Welcoming all races, this will be a classic tournament. With a small entrance fee, there will be prices for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Where the fight will take place will be announced just prior to the start of the tournament, in an attempt to maintain security.
When will this happen? Friday, 10 August 2007 (multiple times may be set up to accomodate different time zones)
Entrance deadline is Wednesday, 8 August 2007 at 2359 Eve Time.
The Rules:
-Contestants will submit their entrance fee (100k ISK) as well as times they will be available and ship they will be flying.
-Once the entrance deadline has been met, the contestants will be randomly matched up in a single elimination tournament.
-Podding will result in instant disqualification.
-Cheating will result in instant disqualification.
-T2 weapons are allowed, and there will be no limitations set on what you will be allowed to fit to your ship.
-T2 Frigates will not be allowed.
-There is no limit on the amount of entries per person (but you may end up facing yourself!)
-In order to win a match, you must destroy the opponents ship.
-Looting of your opponents wreckage will not be allowed in the beginning rounds, but will be allowed deeper into the tournament.

We hope to make this a weekly event, or at least bi-monthly. The 1st and 2nd place winners of every round will have free entrance to the next round.
If you have any feedback, such as "Fridays are no good for me, but I can come on this day" please let us know. We are determined to make Frigate Fights the funnest event in all of Eve!

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Frigate Fights: Round 1 will be rescheduled.
We apologize, and will reimburse all entrants, or carry their entry fee on to the rescheduled match.
As always, if you have any questions or suggestions (times, dates, etc) for Frigate Fights, please contact Gin Moon.
Our rules committee is also reviewing the official rules, and have already mentioned that some changes will take effect prior to the first matches. Those should be released shortly.

Frigate Fights is on the move again! A new and updated Rules list, as well as more specific information of locations and times will be released very soon!
Frigate Fights: Round 1 has been rescheduled for 24-25 August, 2007. The entry fee is the same (100k isk) but the prizes are larger!
See Gin Moon, the commissioner, for more details.
