There is a man not getting sex until the server is up, dammit!
On a more serious note, Wrangler, you're seen in every server problem thread lately. I think its very nice to see, just want to say thanks for doing it. :)
I know I sound like im sucking up, but thats the prize I pay to say something nice to the yellow ribbon people. Someone's gotta do it. :)

faldo, there appears to be a problem at your ISP, probably some sort of loop, but you will have to contact their Customer Support.
Blue Magma, the same is happening to you, I suggest you contact your ISP Customer Support as well.
You guys have different ISPs, but you're in the same country so it seems there's some sort of issue there.

It seems Tiscali UK have been having problems again, isp has come back up to speed for me, and so am back on EVE. They may still be having problems elsewhere so check their server status. Hope this is of use

The server is in London, that IP is in Iceland, so problems at that IP shouldn't affect your connection to Tranquility.

anyone with tiscali will have a problem connecting to EVE over the next week. This is because they have changed their IP address and it is being relayed from the new IP address to gaming servers and the gaming servers havent been updated yet so is sending it back to the old IP address.
So thats a week without EVE and not being able to change skills :(

nah that makes sense cos it cant sent the package on becuase they changed the IP at there end meaning your IP is sending it to the wrong IP at my end... ------------------------------------------

You speak about DNS servers, and wrong info in EVE's DNS service, or wrongly configured first tier carrier services, not about anything CCP can help with, since they dont own any routing services.
It DO sound as a laggy DNS server, i think? i know this CAN happen, if a DNS is slow to update.

Edited by: Neaghan Grebs on 06/08/2007 23:09:12 I've been having problems for a while now. I can get online for a few minutes at most.
Once the stauts of the server has been found I leave EVE to idle there for 5mins then connect. Seems to work fine that way, then you get booted after a few mins, can squeeze in a skill change though. Still not nice...
Now this sig should be the right size...

hmmm they said they have only recently changed the IP but some how I find it hard to belive they would do that and not tell thre paying costumers...
plus i find it hard to belive that 1 ip would change there entire gaming service....
surely they have back ups/reserves...if not they are as bad as orange broadband... ------------------------------------------
