Can you take a BC into a L2 mission? Or does the gate lock you out?
I want to up my standing in a new corp, and all I have access to is L2s or a few L3s waaaay out in the boonies. Can I run my Drake on the L2s till I can get a L3 thats not 15 jumps out?

From personal experience, yes you can run L2's in a Battlecruiser (I do them in a Ferox atm, cause I had one sitting around). Be prepared for it to be rather easy tho... my drones do all the work.
Currently there are no ship "restrictions" on any level of mission, save what it takes to not get blown to itty bitty bits in less than 3 seconds.

The only mission with a ship size restriction is Level 1 World's Collide. The largest ship you can take into L 1 WC is a destroyer.

Thanks, thats good...I know I've tried to bring a cruiser into WC before when I was first starting, and I thought that it was the level that locked you out, not just that one specific gate. I heard that caps cant use jump gates, either...
I'd be more worried about all the frigs getting blown to itty bits in 3 seconds. Hopefully it wont take a dozen L2s and L3s till I can use the L4 agent I want....

Be prepared for the missions to be easy, and be tedious. If all you want is standings, fit rails of some sort, and shoot up the mission target, get mission complete, warp off. The same can be done in level 3s, to a point.

I actually did this for a short time, a ferox doing l2 kill's.
I found the BC agility to be so abhorrent compared to the time it took to actually kill the pirates, that I quickly switched to an assault frigate (harpy in my case).
It was still very fast, easy to tank, and finally moved like it had a mission to do, so I was much happier using it.
