They will when collectors pay 80b per ship, a few ships sold means several hundreds of billions extra in the winning teams alliance wallet.
I think they do not want a repeat of last year when the tournament judges player character joins the winning corporation 1 week after the tournament. At that time the t20 thing became known and it was not so cool to give stuff to your player corporations anymore.

I think allowing implants gives an advantage to the richer alliances in the game...
Looking forward to the tournament, ill be watching it if im home.

Looking at the prices, I wonder why CCP nerfed missions in the first place, and, a pvp alliance couldnt care less about the ****** up rewards.

I really don't understand all the negativity!
I have watched all the alliance tourneys so far. Loved watching them all.
And I'm looking forward to this one as well.

just out of curiosity.., if the tournament is supposed to start on the 31st of August, then how can it be that FREGE already lost one match against PANIC?
Is that an error or a joke?
