von Goethe	Posted - 2007.08.07 18:38:00 - [1] How does one rip their own character portrait (of the quality you see in the initial character creation screen) or otherwise get a high-res portrait out of game? I see a lot of these in sigs and banners and I have no idea how they got such high quality images, and I'm sure there wasn't the foresight to printscreen when they first made characters 4 years ago.

I then asked my girlfriend to do it on her computer. She clicks a portrait, checks- she doesn't even have a /capture folder.

The complete path in XP is C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\My Documents\EVE\capture If that doesn't work, do you have the end:LUA switch on your eve shortcut? In that case, I believe things will be in the the capture folder where you installed EVE like it used to be.
