Hi guys, can someone tell me how to progress to lvl 2 missions? I've been doing lvl 1 missions for ages now and I have a standing of 4.1 with my current lvl1 agent. How can I move up the ladder??? Just keep doing lvl1 missions? Because I've been doing them all day but i believe the missions eventually get repetative.
How can I move onto lvl2 missions to earn better cash?
Cheers guys :)

Edited by: Neon Ghost on 07/08/2007 21:42:54 Your agent won't tell you when to move on, you have to find agents you can use yourself. One way is to look on the map, somewhere in the control panel is an option to show 'my agents' I believe. Another way is to look at the info window for any corp (particularly the one you've been running missions for), check under the agents tab and it'll say which ones you can and can't use.
Once your standing with a corporation is high enough you'll be able to use higher level agents for that corp. You can check the agent info for a particular agent to see what standing s/he requires.

at 4.1 you should be able to find even low-qual L3 agents who will give you missions. You will probably need to run the L2s to get enough cash to afford a better ship though, first. ISK and skills are what is going to gate your progress till you're ready to roll in a BS/BC

Well, i'm already in a Ferox class Battlecruier. I have some friends who have.....given me money to sort myself into a better ship a few months ago. I have 8.7 million in the bank just now, pittance I know but I'm looking to move onto a higher ranked agent for better cash. I would've thought with my standing i'd be able to get a lvl2 agent by now. :)

lvl 1 missions for months? You are right THAT sounds really boring. Get you social skills up and running. Lvl 2 missions in a BC. That sounds really boring - learn how to fly the thing in a hurry. Thats why "normal" players work their asses of in Frigs, destroyers, cruiser and then BC¦s. They now how to fly them - see

By the way, what does "Quality: -18" mean?? Because that's the "Quality" of the agent i've been working for the last few days who won't let me advance to lvl2 agents!!! :) lol

The agent your using generally has no bearing on the other agents you can use, only the standing you have with the corporation that agent works for has a bearing on what agents you can use. Go to Sobeseki where there are lvl 1, 2 and 3 agents in abundance and I'm sure your soon be moving up the mission ladder chain! That which does not kill us makes us stronger. Agent quality is part of the determination of what rewards you get from a mission. ------------

What's wrong? :(

The game rounds things up. You're probably actually at like 1.09994 standing or something. Do one more level 1 mission and it should be enough. And train the Social skill, it increases your standings gain. :)

Don't forget that when you are ready to move up to the next agent you have to log off and log back in in order for the standings to register.
They won't always otherwise.

Edited by: Asmosis on 11/08/2007 11:39:28 Check to make sure the corp your doing missions for actually has L2,3,4 agents. Some dont.
Also try to stay near a story agent for the same corp, those missions provide a huge boost.
Also see if your buddy can add you to a gang for acouple of L3-4 missions, that'd be the fastest way to get up a few tiers.

In your Character sheet, click on Standings, then click on the Liked By tab. That gives you a list of all factions and corps that like you...the one you've been running for should be on the top of that list.
Click the (i) button for that corp to open its info window, then click on the Agents tab. It will give you a list of every agent available for that corp, and tell you which ones are available to you or not. You can pick any agent thats available and run missions for them.
