I can buy a Tristan for 200k, or so, an Ishkur for 10mil, and a Comet for... 38mil!? I don't see t3 stamped on that thing, and the stats are at best, slightly above base frigate, and nowhere near t2. If you really want one for free, you can grind out missions for the Federate Navy, and buy one from the LP Store. That's why the pirate faction frigates can go for up to 80 mill! Doesn't have to necessarily be navy editions, but think of something like Atron -> Duvolle Tuned Atron. Problem is, the can of worms would be so massive it would be over nine thousannnnnnnnd!

But really majority of them aren't really useful, particularly in the frigate class. CCP, please extend your 'khanid mk2' efforts into 'faction mk2', then feel free to add more ships. =)

Make Brutix 1 more low slot, Ferox 1 more turret, Cyclone 1 more mid, Prophecy1 more low slot. These would be ships capable of dealing with their tier 2 brothers. Faction Dominix and Faction typhoon ( both could be exaclty same ship, but more PG and Hitpoints) If brute force doesn't solve your problem... you are not using enough

Akkarin I'm of the opinion that the LP requirements to get these should be lowered a bit, to promote a little lower pricetag. Just enough to keep them fairly rare, but so that you might actually see one flying around once in a while. As is, their cost and their utility aren't balanced properly, IMO. They should be flown once in a while, not kept purely as collector's items.
