is there a frame rate counter in eve? I looked through the manual and it says its in the neocom but ive looked through there a hundred times over and its not ther. can anyone help??

I've looked for it as well - but didn't found it. I can bet that it is hidden under a command line in prefs.ini [like with advanced graphic options] but our beloved Devs won't tell us what the line is or am I wrong. SO until that time i propose to use FRAPS - it's very food

there used to be one. ctrl+alt+f12 would bring it up but they took it away some months ago :(

Try a utility called fraps, which is available at http://www.fraps.com.

you can always press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+M that will bring up a window showing your fps.

Ctrl+Shift+M brings up a little window with all sorts of interesting info. The network tab is interesting, you can see how much little data is sent/ receive during normal gameplay and how much is sent when you jump / dock. Explains jumpgate/docking lag if you are on a slow conex.
