Ding Ding,(USN«)
Today, we decided to go shoot some stn services in BKG-Q2, after the lag in S-K Major Battle , so we moved to the target system, and jumped in our 37 man gang to bkg, we start shooting the cloning services, the hostiles docked out minmatar carrier, we shot him... he dock, and undocked again, we bumped him 7k away from the station dockout point. and he went down fast to 20% armor , While we were killing him, The hostiles warped more carriers to save the first carrier, didn't success, the carrier went down, we start shooting the second carrier, but they brought more support, we took off, and we went to S-EVIQ, taking break.
15 mins later, we decide to come back to BKG- and have some fun, Aprox 01:15 a very Fun Battle Occured between ROADKILL/SMASH/RAZOR/Co. vs Fatal Alliance, M. pire and Friends.
Total of 131+ friendlies and Hostiles in System duked it out tonight.
While RK/RZR/Smash and co. were killing station services Fatal and M.pire warped in wave after wave of snipers to pervent us from shooting the service.
The Last wave of the Fatal & M.pire, the battlefield has 7 hostile carriers, and enemy support fleet, pretty much spread out around our fleet, trying to keep us busy to save the carriers, but after one hour of non stop fighting arround the station, 4 carriers went down one by one and all hostiles support fleet was destroyed by ROADKILL/RZR/Smash and co.
Total of 5 hostile carriers killed tonight, props to Fatal/M.pire for bringing it, Good fight folks.
Good job everyone

Good job guys. Now someone make me log in earlier for invites :( --- Playing minmatar is "like going down a flight of stairs in a office chair firing an Uzi". It's a templar, an amarr fighter used by shuttles. Tho I hear they don't tank very well. |

Judging from the roadkill killboard m.pire/fatal were outnumbered more than 2:1, and with carriers their support fleet was likely smaller than the BS support fleet.
If only all alliances would bring it like this, instead of docking and waiting. Eve would begin to be fun again. Major props to people that fight. Now if you all would come down south :)

Only in Eve do people get these ridiculous backhanded compliments.
You could warp 20 dreads into 300 snipers with no support and get "props" and mad respect for doing it. How about we call a spade a spade: it wasn't courage, but stupidity that caused this loss.

Won't try to spin this, pointless. From what I gather, the pilots were treating their capital investments and combined fleet assets as though they were mere support ships- and even then they treated them poorly.
Why do so many capital pilots fail at EVE?

Well, you see, Eve is a lot like chess. Except when you lose your queen your opponent gives you "mad respect" for "bringing it."

"Mad respect for bringin it" is a slang term used by Eveians. It is most commonly translated into: Im glad you were willing to sacrifice your ship, I hope you burn in hell cuz i hate your alliance and i just got to kill your bleepin carriers. Bleep these bleep bleep bleep I hate them all.

I think a better translation would be "thanks for letting us have fun." That's how people use it, at least; they give props regardless of whether a fight was good, rather they give props whenever they had fun. Most people, of course, fail to think about whether the enemy had fun or not; sometimes they did, sometimes they didn't.
While this fight doesn't sound particularly unreasonable, I see "props" sometimes used the way a 50-man gang says "gf" in local to a guy in a Caracal who just got ganked.

Ding Ding,
Here is my spin on the tactic that fatal and Co used. It was a pretty good tactic in the beginning by throwing several waves of support to reduce our numbers then the final wave of carriers came in with support was pretty damn clever. Reason i say this is because when someone throws in 7 carriers and 50+ support that means they are prepared to duke it out. The battle could have gone very wrong from the beginning. It was the FC and the veteran pilots we had who kept the fleet prepared to fight. As soon as the carrier and support fleet landed at the station the FC and Leaders told everyone to stay in the battle and don't warp away. This gave us the tactical advantage and we were able to keep the carriers and fighters out of the battle until the support were all dead. Once that happened it was all a matter of time before carriers started to drop like flies...
Great work to all involved. Thanks to Gods Army and Leadership that was on tonight for making it possible...
May the lag monster kill you all including CCP.

Although I shouldnt really be posting this as it will probably be replied in somekind of smack/flamebait comments but I have to say that you guys did a great job at keeping us cycle jammed/damped and that was the deciding factor i believe, we couldnt remote rep each others carriers or support for more than a few seconds so I'll give credit where its due... it was a good fight and I'm glad I got to use the carrier for more than a hauler with a jump drive _______________________________ WTS 50m sp PvP Minmitar Character including Dread and Carrier |

I think in battles like this Triage mode will quickly become a requirement, because otherwise it's just really easy to take a carrier out of the picture with damps.
