Hi all
In the last year I saw how the number of online players grow from 15000-20000 to 22000-34000. I'm glad to see more and more ppl coming in Eve Space but this big space got very crowded.
Maybe is time to let us explore some new regions (not like drones regions).

Maybe it's time to split the server into empire and 0.0. I would gladly put up with a 5 minute empire to 0.0 loading time if it meant 200vs200+ fleet battes were not a lag fest with 20 minutes grid loading times and 2 minute module activation delay.
As for space I don't think eve is overpopulated in the way you might think of pod pilot to system ratio. Most of the alliances I have been in 0.0 have been able to protect far larger spaces than what they can effectually use.

That's how the sever currently works. It's not like there's one big server computer, star systems are all run on different sever nodes depending on position and load, so empire doesn't affect the lag in 0.0 at all.

Personaly I like the idea of it being "discovered" that the Eve gate has come back online - and that the galaxy apparently is peppered with other gates linking to orbiting Galaxeys 
IE roleplay excuse to increase the amount of space in eve.

U are right. There are alliance with a big territory. What I thing eve space needs is more regions like Venal.
