Edited by: Aramendel on 09/08/2007 13:20:06 Nice theory, but it does not work.
What you forget is that you have to use your cap for something else than neuts. For your standard curse with a MWD, 1 t2 jammer and 3 * muon RSDs you need with max skills *everywhere* (this includes all cap skills and propulsion jamming and sensor linking) this is 80% of your peak recharge which should be around 25%.
If you go below that you will drain yourself - and you cannot get cap from your target since it has less cap than you.
You could use TDs instead which have a lower capneed, but those are not as effective to avoid damage, so you'll have to tank some. For which you do not have cap. This is especially noticable with the pilgrim which has unlike the curse also to tank some dps.

Also, no one is making you nano/rsd your curse. You could shield/armor tank it.
Yes, because that needs less cap than EW, right? Right?
The point is that nano/rsd combo uses up the least amount of cap/sec than the alternatives. Which would be the optimal setup for the capinjector independant nos/neut tactics of the OP. And even with that it won't work.
In short you need a cap injector for any really useful setups postpatch. Capinjector-independant "solutions" like that of the OP do not work.
Independently of this, while all my postpatch setups so far have injectors there are two problems here: There are grid problems for fitting a nos/neut setup, injector and rep or MWD. And it removes a medslot for EW, which is especially problematic for the pilgrim since it reduces it to 1-2 EW slots.

Hint: 400s and 200s have an identical m¦/cap relation. Or are you seriously suggesting using a small cap injector?
Also, this has zero-zip-zilch to do with the text you quoted.

Do say. It still has absolutely nothing to do with what he quoted. Let me repeat the important part for you:
Capinjector-independant "solutions" like that of the OP do not work.
Notice something? Hint: it is in bold and underlined.
Yes, if you are using a cap injector you can do that. YOu do not even need smaller charges, you can simply drain yourself to 5% cap and keep running your nosses till you do not get energy anymore and then inject (does not matter which size) and neut him for the last percentages. Smaller charges are only important if you get nossed yourself.
Of cource, your target having a cap injector himself or a single nos will completely counter what you do.
