I don't think it's a lack of perspective on my part, it's CCP and people like you that have this misplaced desire for RP'ing ** that does not help the paying customer in any way. Window dressing is useless... How about the dev's use my subscription fee to pay for the guy writting the back ground stuff and they use yours to fix the bugs? I happen to be a product of the US school system and I am quite successful and, while i can joke around and time to time use l337 h@xor speelings in joking, I am quite capable of coherent thought. I too am an Engineer in RL, and yes in my job ôfluffö is a useless waste of time and resources. I play Eve to get away from RL, I personally donÆt use the role-play aspect of the game, (much), but if it makes the game for other people who are we to take that away from them. If you cant/donÆt want to use your imagination, then donÆt berate others because they do. Okay, Moriarty: Huh ? Don't you have things the wrong way round here - I flamed noone for using their imagination - quite the opposite, I flamed someone for being an aggressive ganker and for flaming RP'ers. But anyway, whatever. Still find it strange that you engineers have names like Moriarty, Bhaal, Deathshead, Slaughter, etc - don't want to RP, and enjoy killing things. I mean what would you think ? First of all I don't understand why there shouln't be fantasy stories in a fantasy universe!?! Second; no one FORCES you to read, take place, or even think about the RP stories, events, etc. Third; could you please describe us all what adult interests would be? If u dont like alternate universe games where RPing is actually a key element, why are you still here?
