hp rigs on cap ships are pretty much pointless imo.
The only way ur gonna die is if ur cap is empty, wwhich means the extra hp will buy you feck all time. Or if someone has the extreme dps to actually break that tank, which means again it will buy you sod all in terms of survivabilty.
cap for cap ships = life. 3 ccc rigs all the way

It's seldom that a Rev gets primary in a battle. They go for minmatar first and amarr gets the last...
The problem is when you actually get primaried in a Rev, you could be nossed and that has no counter action... so armor rigs are better, imo.
Ok last time i checked cap rigs were a counter to a certain degree of nos.
i understand ur point totally and i agree in some ways but would u rather sit there not firing or repping for a few more seconds because ur cap is completely empty or would u rather increase ur cap recharge time so u can rep for longer, fire for longer, and resist more nos?
i guess that's the question.

someone did the maths a while back. think 1 cap amount and 2 cap recharges workl the best overall but no certain. i'm sure someone will come in with the math.
