Castor is one of the bright stars in the constellation Gemini.
In mythology, he was the brother of Pollux. That's where the characters in Face Off got their names (Castor Troy, Pollux Troy).
I suppose they chose it because it's got astronomical overtones.

Just kidding.
Gemini was the release name, castor is this last big patch (t2) and shiva is the next scheduled 'big' patch. I'm not sure whats after shiva, but shiva was a hindu god. I'm sure someone out there knows what's after shiva (t4 should be the tech out) but not sure in the name.

I thought it was based arround 'Castor oil'?
Its has a bitter taste when you have it at first but, it makes you feel better in the long run.

Castor was also a roman or greek hero, cant remember, and shiva a hindu goddess
