JUST IN THE ANSWERS FROM THE FUTURE:
Soon, we will have x and x and soon you will be able to land on planets and soon you'll have titans and soon you'll have this and that. And will give you this very soon we think in february but it may be in 2005 not sure.

I'd like an update on what they plan on doing about expensive implants being lost when you're podkilled please. Several ideas were mooted, I'd just like to know what was decided and when they plan on implementing it.

I would like to know when they are going to give all ships different/unique/usefulll boni as atm they are all the same or useless to the ship. Simply giving damage mod or Rate of fire boni is not good enough.

keep it as it is I say, clones are cheap and implants make death bad again, dying should be bad....right

Gangs:
I want to know when the gang system is being fixed?
Currently you need to start a gang, disband it restart it, disband, relog, restart gang, disband gang, restart gang etc etc to even get a basic gang of 5 people actually funtioning correctly.
Who's sick of getting "gangster not in system" when you know full well they are?
Also when are the basic gang skilz being released?
When is the Leadership skill going to have an effect? (gang sizes are not skill based currently but unlimited afaik)

2 things.
1) Gangs - agree with above post. ganging is sorta buggy. Make is that you can invite as often as you like until the person actually is IN the gang.
i've often had bugs where i invite someone, they accept but dont get in, and then i cant invite anymore... so who gang has to be dispbanded etc,
How about making "squadrons" a permanent gang - like the chat channels?? where once you are invited, you can join anytime?
2)ship individuality - like the nice bonuses on the interceptors, give the existing ships bonuses specific to their task... perhaps even a specific skill to pilot specific ships? eg - pilot Thorax skill... each level of skill gives bonus to drone space? etc
this sort of thing would be great. -----

why oh why did you feel it necesesery to nerf this attribute? it's not like there are a huge number of willpower primary skills...
and even with the new leadership skills, there won't be.

hows this for a feature.
Ok this is a blatent rip from EQ's "raid" feature.
Gangs can be split into squadrons, so instead of having one big off gang you can have wings of BB's and wing of long range BS's etc. now instead of getting the normal gang invite, it would be a wing invite, when you enter this wing, a new channel activates which could be called "fleet" or something along those lines.
in this channel would be each member of the fleet, you could then warp to whom ever within the fleet either by yourself or the wing commander can warp the wing to a destination much like the gang warp feature this could then lead to better tactical management.
just an idea.
I mean c'mon, just think about it. What would make more sense then the 3 most hated alliances teaming up to lay waste to the people they all hate anyways? CA is already allied with PA, and TPS lies between the two alliances. Natural allies to be sure. But it's not just that, all but PA (and even some of them) have adopted a "stfu and die, or come and fight us, we don't give a **** what you think or do" philosophy, as well as a PvP Kill everyone not friend kind of mentality. These are the people in eve that kill or convert, the ones dedicated to the death of others, because history, circumstance, and the rest of eve have driven then to do so (except TPS, who are just cool ass pirates ). |

Is there any ongoing work on really usefull drone interface? Currently drone-bay window and active drones list clutter half of screen space. You can't know drone health BEFORE lunching him. Active drone health bar is not propertly and TIMELY updated. There is no such command "Guard me". Sometimes drones silently refuse to return to it's master ship (no, they are not damaged). There have been promises for repair drones. Gallentians need defender anti-missle drones. Having "Launch and attack current target" in drone-bay right-click menu would be also cool. I'm not speaking about grouping drones and much more :) .

2 Improvements for explorers and hunters.
1. Improve the directional scanner by having a transparent circle displayed in the camera view that would represent the end of the "cone" for a given angle and range. This seems like it would be fairly easy to do (very straight forward trig) and it would greatly improve this tool.
2. Give us the ability to warp a specific distance, either by setting a specific amount of cap to use or by a specific amount of AU (both would need to be to .000 places). You would still need a destination to warp to but in the pull down menue there could be a new option "Warp X amount" where the amount in AU or KM is specified. The same result could be achived if the pilots can specify a specific amount of cap to use, and then it would be up to each pilot to figure out how much cap takes them how far.

1. Will CCP remove sentry guns from 0.4 and lower systems again? ever? This would bring pirating back from the dead, as at the moment the only effective pirating can be done in 0.0 systems that have VERY little traffic or so called "ganking" from beyond the sentries range.
I know many pirates and anti pirates who have quit the game or who will quit the game soon if this isnt changed in some way, as both sides pirate and anti pirate find it VERY hard to play their role.

I've got a few.
• When are ships going to accurately represent the race descriptions? E.g. Gallente being the EW experts, Caldari ships being light and nimble, etc?
• When are cruisers going to get two bonuses each, like every other ship class does?
• When is the 125mm variant raligun going to be introduced for cruisers and battleships? Not having these weapons in severely limits a players ship set-up options.

I would like to know when an individual from a corp will be able to put items on the market under their corp name so the proceeds from the sale go straight to the corp and not the individual.
It would make bookkeeping so much more simpler. Uhh...My happy glands are out of control |

Dynamic market!
some steps leading from the current conditions:
* regionalise the market - make the various NPC corporations buy and sell things according to their race and purpose. (ie - stop amarr schools selling minmatar skills etc) - this would spread things round the eve universe more, and make more routes appear - both for NPC demands and for player demands.
* create a supply based on purchases by NPC corps. - this is the next step - once the market is regionalised, make the items produced dependant on the amount of goods purchased - if a particular station isn't able to buy its needed items, it cannot produce and hence cannot make things to sell.
* limit purchasing power of corps. - next step - NPC corps and stations need to get a little realistic. they want to make a profit and so will buy the cheapest they can find and sell the most expensive they can - make them modify their purchase and sale orders over time depending on history. If a particular station is selling so badly that it cannot make money - it will stop buying things (can't afford to) and so stop selling things eventually (go out of business) - this step is a hard one, it will really make the market dynamic, and might show up some serious flaws as npc stations go bankrupt - they will also get money from the station services etc... and perhaps have a "wealth" of a station shown. This will allow players to know that a station is wealthy, and potentially drive up the cost of the stations purchases by refusing to sell at low prices - setting sell orders higher than asked, so eventually (in a day or so) the unmet demand will have to be met by more expensive products..
the tech 2 production gives us a player demand for various "trade items", so that will get included in there as well..

Does CCP have any intention to fix the graphics problems that plague most of EVE's players that use ATI Radeon graphics cards?
I'm talking about the bald/naked character portraits and the missing/corrupt module images.
This has been an issue on the live server for a long time now, and is well documented, but never addressed.

When will you - The Devs - explain ship balancing and motives for skill bonus changing.
Question 2)
Why does it seem that tech 2 items are receiving, or so it seams, PRE-CASTOR tech 1 attributes after current tech 1 and skill bonus balancing. Example : Since you will need high skill to pilot a new ship and then the agility skill was nerfed... the new ship will seem that much more responsive than a tech 1 with the old Ship Command skill with a few inertias
Quesion 3)
Tech 2 items are being seeded at a slow pace. This seems to be an organizational mis-que between devs and RP content creators. In that I mean, your not seeding them fast enuff so the RPing is taking weeks or vice versa. Is tech 2, honestly, proceding according to plan? Also, could you shed some light on how you interact with your RP content creators.

How do you - The Dev Team - feel about the Caldari ship situation? The player base in general sees that in an attempt to balance Caldari ships ( and Devs WERE right in that balancing was indeed in order ) that other races have an utmost advantage in EVE. Example - The Role Playing Storyline does not match the current state of Caldari ships and have put not only veteran Caldari Pilots but new Caldari pilots at a disadvantage in the EVE universe. Furthermore, there was indeed no balance in the balancing and in fact it pushed combat clearly in the hands of Minmitar Vessels, a role in which they once shared pretty evenly.

Not sure about this one but...
How about the ability to make selective sell orders. As in, instead of putting that thorax on the market for everyone to buy, make it so all can buy except the following corps " " " ", so on and so forth. That way its like an embargo from one corp to another and could be a great levy and an alternative to war. Not only that but you could in fact then not supply the enemy with your own produced items :)

ps: i d love to know something about their work-distribution. how many devs are working on rather irrelevant issues (graphics, planetfall, ui, website,...)? are there anyones working on important issues (combat...)?

Just 2 requests here:
1. Can us manufacturers please have a manufacturing window. This will display all the factories you have hired, in what system they are, what is intalled in the factories and a completion time on the thing being made and a mail saying that item has been built and it is ready for pickup.
2. I was really looking forward to the folders in the buddies tab on people & places. Unfortunetly as it is at the moment it is useless. I have great difficulty putting people into folders i have created, and when i do get them into that folder they are still in the ALL folder which is useless, it should be like the BMs just drag and drop buddies into a folder and that is the only copy of it. Also when u delete someone from ur buddies they can not be put back until you have relogged.
