Got podded (first time for me). The m0o bores offered 5 million for my pod but I declined because I would have been pod killed anyway. Besides, got me home instantly!
So, unless you are in a fast frigate, don't bother heading through there :)
(p.s. m0o are a bunch of teenage ****ers).

Okay, at this point you are simply snivelling. If a member of m0o asks another member not to fire some1 up... they won't.
This is my last post on this subject.
Listen up folks! If you have your bodies riddled with implants, I'd consider taking a chance on a toll of 5 mil ISK. You might be pleasantly surprised to find that you just saved yourself a lot of money.

Well, I'm pretty sure that they would never let me go for 5M
But most of their members are indeed very respectable pirates.
With implants for 50M and a new clone for 2M, why wouldn't you give it a try with a 5M toll???
THEN, if they blow you up anyway, you take a screenshot with the conversation and the log of them blowing you up and post it here which would ruin any further attempts by m0o-members to take any tolls...

Id be more happy to POD kill someone than ransom them, but if another member recieves payment for a POD's safe passage, even a heartless bugger like me wouldnt shoot said pod.

Same old Same old. another thread about a noob getting ganked. Did you not look at your map? did you not pay attention to the fact that there was a number of ships destroyed?
A good pilot ALWAYS checks his map before jumping into a system for numbers in system and pods destroyed in a 24 hour periode and in the last hour. he also checks for ships destroyed in the last hour and 24 hour periode EVEN IN EMPIRE!
Next time use the recorces you have at your desposil. and dont go afk ever.
And your lucky that it was m0o. had you payed and not griefed them they would have let you go.
I never even got the option to pay any thing by the pirate the podded me for the first time. and yes I was afk. but I learned a great lesson that day, and now you have too!
oh yeah for your info. dont talk sh!t about something you know nothing about so you dont look stupid.because when m0o was in the CA I spoke to these guys on Team Speak and I know most of them personally.....and your wrong they are not teenagers!

really, get off your high pony. you have a chance to properly prepair yourself for dealing with blockades and pirates, equipping the proper moduals and traveling the the correct areas would be the most intelligent way. it is amusing when you complain about being killed, espically i assume you were in 0.0, you do know that means there is NO LAW. so exactly what are you complaining about my friend. them beating you. or them having the decency to actully give you a chance to save possible implants?

Just ask someone for bookmarks they'll happily give em up to prevent the rats from taking more cruisers and indy's out. Put on a warp scrambler if your in an indy. Use Agil if they're in Gehi. It's actually pretty funny that they think they are doing anything. Most people are saving for when the warp inhibitors come out because right now they're doing nothing. There taking out people who haven't been to the fix very often or haven't been playing very much. Screw paying any pirate at any time.

Lol - its ok for them to roleplay ****kers and call themselves pirates but I'm not allowed to role-play indignant?
Besides, my bestower was destroyed before i even flipped into local. Going from pod to clone activation meant less than going from bestower to pod.

I already made bookmarks (60 of them!) and had to go out in an indy to park up some giant cans. Was webbed and scrambled before I could get me bestower to turn towards the next wp .

im sure mOo would rather kill a pod than get 5 million isk(bloody rich), BUT, if they did say, "pay up" and u will be ok, im sure they would keep their word.

Well I agree with that. It was kinda fun. I've never seen my biomass spaceman floating around before and the pod explosion was quite exciting . I lost 1 implant (doh! I'd just put it in).

Personally I have never been confronted by MOo but I would say if I was and I knew there was not chance I could get out and I had alot of things going..I would gladly pay 5m in pocket change to pass that system...
But I would have to say I would be pretty stupid to put myself in the position for that..aka maps..etc..
Like someone said when you have implants you will think twice before getting wasted.
5m is well worth it. |

I see you all the time. Right when I land on top of the gate and jump. I usually never use warp stabilizers I'm only saying that for the people who have implants to make them feel more secure.

It doesn't work too well now with instajumps. After you jump into a system, you are more or less on top of the gate you came from, which is where the pirates sit. Couple with that the time it takes for something like a bestower to turn and engage warp to the next jump its plenty enough to be locked, jammed, webbed and ganked!

Its true, Tried a test run to get through there blockade last night. Using a good set of BM's. Before my BB could turn align get to speed and warp they had me locked and on the way to Mendori by clone express before you could say WTF. (wish I had changed clone station more recently its a long way back).

Yep, true. I paid 5 mil to get my pod past the gate back to Gehi after an rather dismaying attempt at holding A2... and I was pleased to see that my implant stuffed brain got through in one piece. None of the seven m0o battleships even targeted me on that sloooow 15km trip, which was a very good thing since I had just washed my jeans earlier that day.
I mean people can blow me up as much as they want, but lieing about safe passage after having coughed up five mil is a nono.

Maybe here is the point beetween Pirates and kids with a big gun, if Moo dont KP you after sending 5M they will keep some love and make more money so dont forget to save logs and you can have more long life :)
By the way did Moo ask 5M to others campers neer their home ? can we sign somewhere in order to park here and rent a gate ?

I wouldn't pay even with a skull full of expensive implants. I'd rather go and mine Veldspar for six months to buy them all again. Shame there is no way of fighting pirates (bounty system sucks).
