or 'matrix style' shared neural environment?
considering the extensive level of integration between PodPilot and technology, it seems unlikely you'd be getting in and out of the pod all the time.

if by stage 2 ambulation i cant see my pod opening up and all the wires unplugging then it has failed us all

Dunno about you, but I'm getting out of my pod.
There is no pew, pew in the stations, so we can buy sexy stilettos, go dancing together and do other great things without having to worry about being disturbed by being killed.

While a matrix-style simulated environment is a very cool idea (perhaps we could see something similar with the corporate war room features?) I don't think that walking in stations will be simulated.
Neat idea though!

oooo I missed that bit. now I understand. while it won't happen, it is a very interesting idea. Maybe it could be another MMORPG. it would make combat with space pilots make sense too :P
but right now eve has super massive stations and they have people on them. I want to see them.

Concerning the reality of "walking in stations" don't think "matrix".
Think "Duke Nukem Forever".
