I tend to go with
6 ACs, 2med nos
MWD, Web, scram, cap booster
2 MARII, DC II, 2 EAMN II, Gyro
But might be an idea to read through the other threads.

That's my exact setup. If you want a lil' more gank, and a lil' less tank, drop the DC for another Gyro. It would also help to work on missile skills, because that's what you'll be using when CCP gets stupid on the NOS in just a short while from now,

6X 425mm T2, 2X Heavy Missle
1x MWD t2, 1x Disrupter t2, 2x LSE t2
2x Overdrive t2, 1x DCU t2, 3x Gyro t2
1x Agility Rig, 1x Falloff Rig, 1x EM Shield Rig
Pretty well for the win if you play it smart. Swap the highslots for 650's and assaults and it kicks the hell out of HACs and cruisers from a nice safe range.

I found my passive shield-tank Cane still doable on most situation after BC shield nerf.
