No, it's not.
The Jovian people decided awhile back that they really didn't want to deal with the rest of us, so they withdrew into space that we cannot reach.
Unless their attitude changes, we won't see them around, less get to visit their realms.

There was a Jovian called 'Active Alli' sighted in empire space recently (search for him in your people & places if you don't beleive me).
He allegedly attacked a miner and then got attacked (and destroyed?) by concord.
It's probable that he was suffering from the Jovian disease, and driven to the point of insanity had stumbled to empire space.

Maybe we shouldn't annoy the Jovians into interacting with us yet, I personally would be more worried of what would happen if the original wormhole re-oppened.
If the earth sector side still exist, how much more advanced then us are they? Will we appear as aliens to them? Maybe a different wormwhole may attach to the manmade gate, and who knows what might come out of it?

Well, it might. Perhaps one day the technology used to power stargates will be equipped to ships. I know the Society of Conscious Thought has the Jump drive skill pack available in most universities, but at $10 million ISK and with no actual jump drives in existence (at least to my knowledge) I don't know what the point is. If Crielere can pull through these Gurista raids, perhaps they can get a prototype jump drive out...

Too many people in this game want EVERYTHING and NOW.
When I first started, the main question was "When will Cruisers be available?", then cruisers came out and within literally minutes, the first question in help popped up of "Hey Polaris, when will battleships be available?". Of course, when BS's appeared, everyone wants Titans.
I wish the majority of player could just chill out and play the game. Do you really think that ANYONE is going to give you the advantage of knowing WHEN and WHERE a particular feature is goign to pop up just because you ask?
Use this basic rule of thumb: If it's there, it WILL become usable. Why does WHEN matter?
If they turn on everything - Jovians, Titans, Player Owned Stations, Explorable Planets and Tech Level 5 - what will we have to look forward to?
Keep drip feeding us CCP - it keeps us interested.

The problem is that it has to be an event that damages richer players rather than poorer players... Faulty jump drive blueprints should work... it could send you to the middle of nowhere space, or the centre of the sun... there will be a lot of laughs with that. it would also mean a lot of annoyed corps who use their resources for normal things rather than their immense dreams.

well there will be ofcorse several sizes of Titan's..
from what i have heard there will be some weaker Titan's i would refer as Carriers that might come closer than you think.. the one's that want the Big motherships will have to wait quite some time..
rumored ETA about Shiva is sometime in may i think. just
train up and mine alot..

I have a lvl 3 Jove agent and i want him back.
Did a lot of work to get him and now it's not public anymore.
And Jove is also role playing.
And if you want role playing, give a bigger - standing to agents and convoy attacks.
Why can't i attack a -2.0 player in 1.0 system ?

I don't know if you read most of the stuff in the "shiva" text but only titans can "scoop up" the HUGE cargo containers that hold stuff... as it states it in the description... I'm guessing that most "player" deployables will need to be moved by titans and if not... I'll be eating crow :)

EH?...why?...the biggest corps have the most experienced players in them and most of them have learned patience by now....all these wants and demands are coming from the small newer corps who are having trouble attaining cohesion and cannot make serious money ...why punish the large corps who have obviously worked hard and have been able to make large amounts of money.....its easy if you know how....the Jove will be in the game when its time, T2 came as things were becoming stagnant ingame...i doubt that will happen again....just show a little patience and explore whats ingame already...there is so much that has been released but is not readily available

The shiva text makes a joke about the cargo containers, it states "They are however quite durable so don't expect to run away with one easily. Well at least not in anything less than a Titan."
That does not mean Titans will be available...

Well i know for a fact that the jove are in contact with us, i had the horner to chat with one a wile ago and got a small gift from the Jovian, not sure what it's for, but i guess i'll findout along the way...
And jove space will be opend at some point, but i think we have to wait for the Jump Drives and titans before we can travel in to there realm...

I wouldn't expect to be able to get to Jove Space period.Jump drives, Titans, something else I wouldn't look for either.CCP doesn't add content, just items.Don't give me, there's the storyline either, it's only in place to add more items.Any idea what to do after everybody is leveled up after tech 5 comes out(if it ever comes out)?Mine, research(more items), kill each other?Just my ponderings..

Let me tell you sumthink ..... i know when the titans are comming out and yes they are comming ( and there nearer than you think) lets just say withenn 4 months you will c the smaller type of titan bpc in the game only lvl 4 agants will give it out from what i have heard.

That pic is just a screen shot from chaos used in the eve chronicles.
Titans may be coming (and they may not), however, i think that if they arrive within 4 months it will probably be to early.
From the amount of minerals that will be required to build these behemoths, only large corps (or totally dedicated small corps who are already working towards getting the required minerals) will be able to aquire them.
I agree with anyone who says that this is the way it should be, of coure it should. These are massive ships that require massive resources to produce them. Therefore they will take a massive amount of time and effort just to produce one. Of course things will become easier from then on becuase just one of these would probably be able to strip mine an entire belt on it's own.
So then you will just get the large corp's creating a specific account just for the strip mining Titan. The people will work in shifts, 3 - 4 hours on the Titan account, log off, then then next person (in the corp) logs on to the Titan account and carries on strip mining.
If you get a few bs's joining in you could probably strip mine an entire system in a matter of hours, as there will be no need of industrial ships.
Anyway, I think I have warbled on long enough. Time for someone elses point of view.

OMG lol, only a few people seem to have noticed that Jove space has slowly moved since retail went online. It started in the south east, next to Curse, now look where it is. Looool, did someone think everyone woudnt notice?

I've seen a couple "hidden belts" appear in .6 space with what looks like a huge ship wrapped around a carved rock bigger than a station. With it are the remains of several warships of various Empires, the results of a battle. Nothing scoopable, no cans or flotsam, just debris that can't be manipulated. This just started happening from what I understand. Could this be a portent of Titans becoming available? Or possibly cloaking devices? Or both?

I've noted that certain corps say they have close connections with Jove (NPC corps)... I think if you got a 10 standing with one of these, your character should be allowed into jovian space.

After what i have heard the titan will not be able to target roids, so it can't mine. Not sure were i did hear this but it make some sence as the ship is so big compared to......anything. People from Chaos, and yes it have been there, have saied that docking a titan in a station is like squeesing a grapefruit into a orange.
Just my thoughts and the rumors i have heard.

All the races came from earth thru the eve gate...but the eve gate is ravaged by storms i think...not really sure on that one...well anyways just look at earth today...or see the video pearl jam - its evolution...pretty much explains why the humans wouldnt make a threat to us...are there any pics out on the amarr titan? if it is i would love a hyperlink pls=)
