Before you all jump on me I know that it can fly in low sec as well (but not hi sec).
My question here is it remotely viable as a low sec ship?
A few points:
1) It uses Stront to do its ore compression trick making it rather expensive to operate. Are low sec ores even valuable enough to bother with the cost of operation?
2) Perhaps more importantly it looks like it will nail itself to the floor for 10 minutes going into its version of siege mode so it can do its thing. Seems to me a 1.2+ billion ISK ships (perhaps 2 billion all told with mods...just guessing but seems to be something like that) will bring pirates from 10 jumps in all directions to go kill it. Remember it cannot move.
3) Don't have a #3....just looks better this way.
So, you'd need a sizeable guard (fair enough) which adds considerable cost to an OP. Then you are burning Stront to have it do its thing adding yet more cost. And likely pirates looking for a good fight and juicy target would be all over these.
So, can anyone see flying these in low sec or is this another hand out to the 0.0 alliances while the rest of EVE looks on?

It'll be used as a POS hugger (so no guards required) providing remote bonuses to a mining op, then used after the mining op to compress the ore, so it can be jumped with greater ease by carriers to your nearest station for refining. From there, the minerals are likely to be compressed and transported elsewhere to be refined and manufactured.
Ahh, the great cycle of industry.

Stick it at a POS to do the compression. It'll have 800k M3 ship space if I recall, it'll have a whole slew of uses. The gang mods, remote repping, drone bonus, the clone vat bay for 5 people.
With the ship bay you can stick 2 40k indys in it's ship bay for moving stuff around, and it has a rather large cargo bay, and a 10k corp hanger. You should be able to get 120k M3 or so of stuff in it. I think it only has the jump range of a mothership though.
