Ok so im starting to get sick of the bands i listen too, and seeing as how im going to be getting a zune tomorrow (please don't ruin it for me with comments like "oh the zune sucks get an ipod" and blah blah blah), i need some new music to put on it
i listen to stuff like rhapsody, iron maiden, dragonforce, 3 inches of blood, hammerfall, dream evil, post humus and mostly jsut heavy metal and power metal.
anyone have any suggestions on new bands to listen to?

STEP AWAY FROM THE BLACK. GET SOME BOUNCE IN YOUR LIFE. Go to a torrent site, search Wigan Pier 57 and download the album. It is probably the biggest contrast of music to the crap you have been listening to, which is great!
Oh and pendulum are kinda the win button these days, the kooks, arctic monkeys \o/

check out Pandora Radio.
you feed in bands you like, and it plays you songs with similar characteristics. You then rate the songs as good or bad, and your profile is expanded to refine your taste further. Nice way of listening to music without prejudice, since half the time you've got no idea what the hell it's playing you.
you might struggle to find matches if you have an all-consuming passion for polka music (i'm looking at you Dax) but there's some goodies in there.

Pandora radio for the win.
tries to equal out all of the bands you put in and make a playlist of other bands you might like.
ignore the person that posted frist.
but if you like other types of music you would like... celldweller , he's kinda good.
I don't I know, I'm mostly a raver :P
