Not sure how you're doing the generation, but a secondary step could include going back though the text, amd applying a random chance to change any "ie" to "ei", "tion" to "sion", "c" to "k", etc.

Yep!
For the leetspeak, just have the slider represent a value between 1 and 100. Then iterate through each character in the text, and if that character has a leetspeak equivalent just give it an X percent chance to convert it, where X is the value from the slider.
I made one with PHP once.

I don't know the "how to" for it but you could try something along these lines;
What about having several settings you can turn on and of and mix as you want?
First setting: The letters in between the first and last letter in the word gets scrambled randomly.
Only applies to words with a certain amount of letters (you can define that yourself?) and a slider to decide how many % of the letters should be scrambled (Should every letter have a new position, or just one here and there) - "Tihs is just bisac mispelilnsg due to laisnezs"
Second setting: Certain letters/combination of letters got a chance to be replaced by similar ones (based on phonetics if you got the time to do that) "Tehs is nst jost besac mespililnsg dwu to laesnezs" (Well, maybe not as bad as that, if you overdo it it just goes from giving a headache to read to becoming completely unreadable)
Third setting: Removal of random letters in words
Bonus!: 1337 speak mode! You know you don't want to ;)
