Edited by: Selquita on 16/08/2007 08:15:07 For nearly two months now, IAC and FIX alliances (plus allies), have been embroiled within a bloody war. Each side has taken heavy losses in both ships and starbase towers.
The culmination of these attacks brought forth the destruction of a FIX momthership that was still in production. A terrible, tragic loss which we sacrificed many kittens in order to save.
However, today, tomorrow, and the day after will see the greatest losses from FIX and and BOB as we finally unveil our secretest plan.
Before IAC began their invasion of Querious, we had put into production approc twenty titans. These ships were to be our grandest weapons in our take over of all of EVE. Not just to combat IAC and friends, but to completely eliminate all of Goons, BOB, Jita, and that little .4 dead end system just south of of the .5 system.
Unfortunately, the great and noble Jovious Marginus, former member of FIX and current CEO of some corporation who's name I've forgotten, has seen fit to release our diabolical plans to the rest of the EVE community.
Thus, for the next three days, starting today, we will be losing titans at roughly two per minute, every hour.
It is truly a sad and terrible day for all of our FIX brothers and sisters.
However, as a FIX diplomat between my alliance and the 'Save the Veldspar' union, we will be setting up new headquarters for our alliance in 1.0 space. It is our hope that through rigorous negotiations, we can come to some manner of understand with the tritanium bearing members of our great EVE universe.
Thank you to those who were bitter and disgruntled at FIX, and to those who lost ships to help further our cause. Without you, these new and prosperous ties to Veldspar would not have been possible.
Fly safe, and be well.
-Disclaimer- The view expressed in this monologue are most likely thrust upon the poster via brainwashing by the greater isk farming community. Furthermore, they are probably false and inspired by above legal limits of alcohol. =) ====================================

Through recent scientific breakthroughs and invention circuits, Amarrian scientists have discovered sarcasm and humor tech 2 breakthroughs.
Utilizing a delicate balance of alcohol and insomnia, they managed to actually make the Amarrian prime minister smile.

-A- and there IAC pets can't seem to do the job. Sounds like they are losing ground infact from what I have seen and heard.
-A- dropped in 25+ dreads, put a few Fix towers into reinforced mode, then Fix + friends put together a small carrier / ms fleet and -A- did not even attempt to finish the towers off.
IAC don't seem compitant enough to actually pull this off, they are in it more for a few nice ganks and fights it seems not space.

IAC has towers in 49u. AAA has towers in ED. FIX has towers ALL OVER.
So, ultimately this means they have a place to stage pew pew from, and we have a place to stage pew pew from, and we're enjoying it.
We've had some good fights so far, found how many it takes to crash the 49u node, and are learning a lot about ourselves, our allies, and our enemies.
Win or lose (hoping we win, they lose of course *grins*), it's all about having fun playing this wacky game called EVE. =) ====================================

They were outnumbered 2:1 and our cap fleet was bigger than their bb fleet.

So in plain text...
-A- with there superb leadership and tactics along with 2 titans, MS's and Capital fleet along with there IAC pets that has what 4000? members couldnt take on Fix+ friends. When you have an alliance like IAC with all those numbers, you should never be outnumberd, if you are, your doing somthing very wrong and just letting anyone into your ranks. Then again I thought -A- wouldn't even need there pets to take out fix or mc so I am not always right

As it stands, the war isn't requiring overwhelming numbers nor titans. In fact, it's been pretty much a war of roaming gangs in between bouts of fleet combat. And it's been incredibly fun.
So please, try not to start a flame fest over it. We really don't need that.
Thanks. ====================================

Holy s***t!! Im wondering what you WOULD fight that fleet with. Thats enough drones to crash the server, enough pew pew to desolve any non-capital ship, enough pew pew to destroy a capital fleet, enough focussed repping to keep it alive even vs 25 sieged dreads, and when your carrier dies its drones keep fighting. Their titan wouldn't even help cause it'd be trapped by a hundred drone wrecks and you could just deploy more. And tbh if you were to fraps it you could mistake it for an 8x protoss carrier massing force in Starcraft.
Perhaps there need to be anti-drone ships, but massing carriers and moms like that is cheesier than DDDing through a cyno.

The IAC/FIX conflict seems to be one of the few conflicts in EVE today where people don't automatically lose all maturity when speaking with their opponents.

IAAAC is inviiinciiiiible !
Actually there have been some minor setbacks for our side and FIX have a lot of friends showing up to help them.
Yes we were definitely losing ground in 49-u, mc/axe carrier blob did save some FIX poses coming out of reinforced in ed-, and succeeded in putting 2 -A- pos in reinforced. However, they couldn't finish off those pos, and any ground IAC has lost in 49-U has now been regained.
Whether FIX can hold out now depends pretty much entirely on Axiom Empire and Mercenery Coalition commitment and stamina. They still have Storm Armada, D-L, MC, AXE, Outbreak and whoever else I'm forgetting helping them and ISS have every intention of returning after grabbing new ships and taking care of hostile incursions into Esoteria.
It's an interesting conflict, but FIX need a lot more help if they're to last much longer, suggest BoB immediately send 40 BS -yw- fleet to Querious !

As we steer our boat down, looking for these dangerous predatorsà Boy, there's a king troll right here. He must be four meters; 12, 13 feet long at least. This troll has enough power in its jaws to rip my head right off.
I've got to be careful. So, what I'm gonna do is sneak up on it and jam my thumb in its butthole.
If I get bit out here, I'm 200 kilometers from the nearest hospital: I'd better be real careful jamming my thumb in its butthole. [jumps in and grabs the troll] Oh, boy, it's ****ed off now.
I'm gonna jam my thumb it its butthole now! This should really **** it off! Oh, yeah, that ****ed it off, all right! I've gotta be careful!
Well! That was quite an angry troll! But I managed to escape with only a few bruises and a shattered left testicle. Next week we'll look for more of these beautiful creatures, so we can learn more about them by ****ing them off immensely. Thanks for watching.

You didn't fool me for a minute. Most of your enemies are aware of the fact that, as part of your slave/pet agreement with BoB, FIXians are not allowed to fly anything larger than a battleship.
Now, if you'd said 20 blackbirds, or 20 maledictions...

The last weekend towers were out from reinforced in a timezone that favoured Fix and allies a lot more than AAA.
The result was this : http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/1657/sighex1.jpg
They were outnumbered 2:1 and our cap fleet was bigger than their bb fleet.
So no reason to smack them for not engaging, any sane person would have done the same.
Disregard the smalkers. They belong here in this forum and not on the field.
Anyone who underestimates AAA is not too bright. FIX has allot of respect for AAA they use timing, numbers targets of opportunity and basic tactics among the best in EVE. it's always a pleasure to fight such a formidable foe who keeps smack to a minimum. props to AAA for bringing it as they do. |

BREAKING NEWS:
A stunning turn of events has just taken place.
During one of the daily Rens-unfairs, IAAAC suddenly pulled out of a massive fleet battle versus McFIX-ISSammich with AXE.
Scratching our heads as to why, we suddenly received word from one of our sources in Jita that the whole IAAAC fleet had just shown up there at a station.
Upon closer inspection, the pilots of all four thousand ships were making their way towards the food court where another of their pilots was pleasantly enjoying lunch.
It was then that everyone noticed, much to their horror, that the wayward IAC pilot was, in fact, drinking Quafe.
Tyrrax is rumored to be striking deals with Goons and BoB in order to delcare war on the drink manufacturing corporation.
What this means for the McFix sammich (super-sized), is yet to be seen. More details as they arrive. ====================================

Fair enough, I never jumped into the system since -A- chose not to engage so I don't have the faintest clue who had how many of what.
I do find it hard to believe FIX had more capitals than MC or AXE present, but if so then congrats, guess you're not in as bad shape as I thought.

The IAC/FIX conflict seems to be one of the few conflicts in EVE today where people don't automatically lose all maturity when speaking with their opponents.
I would say that for the most part our fights have been pretty fun. The fleet fights and smaller gang fights have been nothing but exciting. Props to FIX for usually bringing it to the table. I still stand by the comment i made several weeks ago. Most FIX pilots are good guys and its shame we cant be friends but I cant think of better enemies to fight. The have honor and courage.

Most FIX pilots and IAC pilots get along just fine. In fact many FIX liked IAC allot. yes we enjoy having targets close, so wouldn't want you guys blue but we had no interest in the Sov battle witch is taking place. anyhow too late to go back now. |

Lots of good battles in 49-Derek when the servers allow I'll agree however it'd be nice if people would stay ingame when they come in a gank squad to the BRP2-K constellation (aka 25S-6P/FAT-6P area) & encouter a defence gang. MCLogoff with fries isn't conductive to good fights (neither is 0utbreak running away when encoutering our gangs but hey they're "elite" PvP'ers like MC right?).
Shouldn't the thread title be FIX/MC/ISS/D-L/RISE/AXE/Storm Armada/Coreli/Exuro Mortis/YouWhat/0utbreak (aka BoBpet Collective) vs IAC/-A-?

Translation: After we finally get the gumption to leave our stations, numbers notwithstanding, they (Outbreak/MC) won't jump into our 40 man gate blobs with their 5 ships. And we're mad as all heck they don't!

Seems to me that more than just IAC/-A- are involved on your side, pilgrim. Even though the two of your alliances comprise the bulk of your vanguard, and clearly outnumber the majority of the contributing FIX allied battlegroup (bear in mind, FIX and MC are the two alliances named with a large presence in the area in question), you forget to mention the participation of BOS/POS/MASS on your side. Hell, even Goons and Enelaise have contributed to your war effort over the past month. I'm sure I'm missing a few of your allies, and I appologize seeing as you found it necessary to name anyone who is allied with us and has been seen with at least 1 ship (even if it was only that velator taking potshots at you). I'm surprised you didn't mention State War Academy as well, as I'm sure you've seen onsies and twosies of them in the area from time to time!

Guy lets stay above the smack talking and troll feeding and get back on topic.
As far as I see it since FIX is in the process of losing 60,480 titans over the next 3 weeks, we should join in their celebration of suicide!
I would like to announce a new IAC initiative.
From this day on IAC will be sending 1 freighter every 10 seconds loaded with spirits of every flavor to all FIX stations. It is our hope that our FIXian comrads will be able to drown themselves in any alchoholic beverage of their choice. Of course we met resistance from all of our Allies when we announced this initiative but, after explaining the benifits of this program, they agreed.
Sadly many of our allies and IAC pilots in general will be operating less drunk and possibly sober as supplies run low to support this massive undertaking.
I would like to support FIX in their desire to destroy these obsolete ships of destruction. I hope your plans are successful and every one of those 60,480 titans are destroyed.

Aye, a cunning plan indeed.
Intelligence from our informants have alerted FIX command of this attempt to infiltrate and cloud the minds of our fearless FC's.
Unfortunately for us, even after reacting hastily, our efforts where in vein. there seems to be some kind of unexplained break in the comms on board the ships of our patrol units in the area. this phenomenon seems to only occurs after initial reports of IAC freighters in the area. we have preformed extensive tests on ships involved. however all comms on these ships seem to be operating normally and show no sign of tampering.
i have had no choice in that matter but to send out elite units within FIX to intercept and deliver all contents of these freighters to my private hangar where they will remain until i have had sufficient time to determine weather these spirits are suitable for consumption.

I do find it hard to believe FIX had more capitals than MC or AXE present, but if so then congrats, guess you're not in as bad shape as I thought.
So you are saying you have no balls to jump in and fight? Or are you saying -A- didn't have the balls first so thats okay?
As asked before, no smack. If you want to smacktalk, go to one of the fifty billion other threads. This one is for those involved to let off a little steam, make fun of the situation, and generally just not have the burden of red vs blue get in the way of otherwise being friends.
Not of course, that I would be friends with our hostiles. Cause they smell funny. But if I were going to be friends with them... yeah... ====================================

Sounds like somthing somone would say when they are losing. Why not be proud of your alliance and tell IAC to grow some balls. They have yet to make any more of a push since your friends showed up, and my understanding is IAC is about to get a big surprise in about 2 weeks time. Going to be interesting times indeed. |

I am very proud of my alliance. I wouldn't still be in it after three years if I wasn't proud of it. *g*
We are, afterall, the same people who did a drunken conga-line outside our outpost with the hostiles. If you can't be proud of your alliance after that, I dunno what you can be proud of. *grins*
By the way, dance party at Tyrrax's place in two weeks. I'll bring the exotic janitors... or was that homeless dancers? ====================================

Important Announcement:
Earlier today, MC discovered the Chairman of FIX to be hoarding mass quantities of IAC sponsored 'Spirits'.
After learning of this travesty, MC has begun recalling all of their pilots from around EVE in an attempt to besiege the HQ of our fair chairman. They've also looked into contracting several mercenary Minmatar corporations in an attempt to bolster their numbers against one very drunk, and ginormously e-peen endowed Droewa who was last quoted as saying "I'm the mother****ing chairman of mother****ing FIX!"
At this time, it is unclear as to whether or not IAC or -A- have been preparing raids into FIX gambling lounges to distract FIX pilots with more of these 'goods'. But as one of the three sober pilots left in FIX, I'll do my best to keep everyone up to date. ====================================

Let the propaganda machines run.
Face reality people... IAC and FIX are largely stalemated even considering their allies. IAC has more people and FIX has slightly more talented people. IAC's only problem is getting off it's fat lazy duff to do something, although when they do drunkenly lurch into gear, they're as unstoppable as an angry college lineman after 5 shots and a pint.

"Unstoppable"?
Where does this myth of IAC competence come from? They have thousands of people, and still need thousands more allies to fight stalemates against people with a fraction of the numbers. They've never won a war on their own against anyone. They needed AAA, Goons, TCF, Curse, and more, just to beat ISS (and lost several even-odds fights against ISS in the process). During both Prohibition campaigns, all they did was sit in POSs and cry.
Since then of course, they've lost their best pvpers, and Tyrrax is taking a more active roll, which is obviously a net negative for the alliance. Outbreak showed just how "unstoppable" IAC is.
IAC can blob. And that's about it. Without the AAA umbrella, IAC would have died 8 months ago. Now they are AAA pets, even administering AAA stations.
Of course, once the ReeRee Brigade joins Goonswarm (are we in yet? what's taking so long?), we'll be singing a different song in CAOD! Tyrrax -- he's muh boy!

I figure, oh sure, why not. Like I didn't get enough sniping battleship in the last few wars I fought...
So I get down there. IAC/AAA show up, jump into a gate, I warp to the gate with my compatriots, get lagged out.
What do I find... I find Foofighter and the rest of his gang shooting at me...
Did you guys primary me just because I am ex-IAC?
On a bright note, the slave implants I was wearing were the ones given to me by Tyrrax for use in the IAC tourney team.
Now if only I could find a way to lose that Aeon for Tyrrax too... __________________________________________________________

I am ex-IAC Executive, I left nearly the same time the good PvP'ers in FIRMA and DKOD left to go elsewhere. You may not know me, but I know many of the people in that fleet, and this was directed at them.
And the loss of the BS was nothing, I was just hurt in the feelings that they would primary me so quickly... I had kinda hoped to stick around for a bit.

Kaylana was still at work, otherwise he would have been.
I might have lasted longer with Kay there, as he probably would have been before me on the hitlist.
And even if Foo wasn't FC, his was the only name I could quickly recognize through the lag, at least in the short time it took you to rip through my pod. __________________________________________________________
