Nerf points, seriously! I've read over and over that if everyone must use something it's over powered... and for that matter, nerf webs, nerf mwd, nerf repairers... definately nerf guns and drones....
Missiles are ok.

OMG, everyone is using a ship in EVE, nerf them, and then later remove the ships.

Everyone uses haulers, so I guess they're overpowered...
Either boost the cargo holds of combat ships, or reduce the cargo holds on haulers...

You've over simplified what is generally a correct statement in order to try and make a point.
The reasons for everyone using scrams, webs etc are very different from why everyone is flying a particular ship/setup. The first comes from necessity as they are the tools for getting particular jobs done (much like how pretty much every miner uses mining lasers or strip miners), the second would be because the particular ship/setup is far more powerful or hard to counter that it makes other ship/setups almost obsolete.

when you make your setups yourself and know at least a bit of what you're doing you'd stumble upon very similar setups as well, mebbe not in every detail, but certain modules will be included unless you just want to fly sthing unique.

Well webs ARE overpowered.
They do not follow the usual progression of +5% strenghth per meta tier.
Tier 4 is ~2.5 times as powerfull as tier 1.
