We've had.... Dealings... with them.
For all intents and purposes however, they are kinda a different corp then the one we dealt with.
You can always quit if you don't like em Evolution..... Just when you thought you were winning.

TTI is such a different corp from what it used to be, I don't think many people 'really' know what it's like now, they've been keeping to themselves and enjoying the quiet life for a few months now.
TTI certainly has a colourful history, and I'd be quite interested to hear what they are up to now.
You'll certainly be in good hands with experienced players, that's for sure. You won't know till you give it a go. ---

Why remain in a corp if you do not like being part of it? To answer your question, yes, I enjoy being in TTi. :)

We are a corp in resurgence now.
We've got alot of members on the book, but many have taken a v. long break from the game, though some have now come back. So active members continues to be rather small, with most of us being US based (not me).
All of us are experienced in the game, we all go and do our own thing, especially with the agent rave that has now teepered off. So now were re organizing, with lotsa of growth and opportunities for new players, with experienced members willing to help wherever we can. ____________________________________ Taggart wants YOU. I've been in TTI since Beta 4 and have enjoyed every second of it. Some times have been better than others, and it is a different corp than what it was when I first joined it. But I have never regreated joining Taggart.
If you want to get a feel for us and what we are like, pop into our forums: http://www.taggarttransdimensional.com/forum or hang with us ingame on our ingame channel: Taggart (that doesn't really get much use now that i think of it, but their us ussaly one or two of us that hang their.)

IÆm a fairly new to EVE (been playing for little over a month) but I bought an account that has almost 4.5 million skill points. This character has some very nice skills (PE5, ME5, mining 5 etc.) I see TTI members in local where I have set up my base and I was thinking of joining a corporation, since itÆs obvious that you can accomplish a lot more as a group then individually.
From what I hear here, TTI is a good corporation to get in to, but IÆm still not sold. Why would I pick TTI over some other good corporation that I hear are out there, like RONA-KAI or Xanadu? Is TTI in any alliance? Can my skills as miner, researcher and producer be utilized? I donÆt just want to join a corporation just to join. I would like to be productive and use my new characters skills. After all, I did pay good money for them. What kind of a role can I expect to be assigned if I join TTI? I would appreciate if someone from TTI could give me some info, or contact me in the game.
Thank You.

TTi does not assign roles.

IÆm not sure how corporations work, but if thereÆs no role for players, there should be. Some people are better suited for certain tasks then others and I would think that a corporation would like to place people in a role that they are best suited for. Players that want to fight would be assigned a role in the military, while miners and producers would be placed in the industry role. Sorry, but thatÆs how I would run a corporation if I was managing one, but then again what do I know? IÆll contact someone in TTI in game to discus the structure of the corporation, since IÆm sure that they donÆt want to discus it in open forum.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure there are some people within TTI that are longing to get to post those endless long posts about how they are different from the other corps out there, including internal structure let alone their Randian philosophies. Then again last thing I heard GunnyP hadn't even read Atlas Shrugged so many things have changed in the last months, who knows if there is anything TTI to them but the name nowadays...

Hi Diox. Good questions, glad you asked.
When you said 'assigned roles', it sounded like TTi just pick people and make them do this and that. Thats something we'd never do. How much you want to participate in the corporation is up to you. If you want to assist in particular focused area, such as manufacturing, then say so and we'll find you a place in that department where you can work with others there.
As for alliances...Im not sure if having one is a positive thing , but for now, we're not being quite so flashy about politics as we have been before. Friends on the other hand, for co operation, are good to have, and that we have.
If you see TTi locally, message 'em and see what happens ____________________________________ Taggart wants YOU. Join TTi! *waves his hand in your face in the jedi way* |

Edited by: Activor Faust on 20/02/2004 13:50:25 Edited by: Activor Faust on 20/02/2004 13:49:50 I found Ragnar's hat on the seat of the Raven he left in the station in 6-nj in Venal before he vanished. Sadly, it was subsquently destroyed in a combat engagement with m0o. I understand that fragments of the hat may now be in the possesion of Lord Zap and his cohorts.
To answer the original poster's question - I have been with TTI since Eve was released and I have found the guys in the corp to be absolutely superb. Despite having a rough period during and after the Venal conflict, when emotions were running pretty high, we are rebuilding well and are currently recruiting new members.
We would be especially pleased to hear from players with a preference for NPC combat or PvP combat activities at the moment as we are looking to bolster our armed forces.
If you are interested in knowing more or applying please email [email protected].
Thanks! Activor Faust

I was in TTI from day one of launch. TTI was without a doubt a great corporation. And still is from the information that TTI was kind enough to give me recently.
As to assigned roles... LOL. TTI is alot like Eve. You carve your own place according to your own drive. Not your needs but on your accomplishments. You only get what you strive for, no more, but definitely no less.
And it that is all that is left of Randian philosophy... well that is good enough.

Edited by: Mantra on 20/02/2004 16:28:03 Well, i'm a new member to TTI. So far they've given me alot of help, tips and information. From what I have gathered, they've changed alot from what they used to be. Not how they operate, but their ideas and how they act to other corporations.

Nice to see some nice replies again, man, two threads with lost of nice things to say... we must have changed
Yes, we have a colourful(im British, give me a break ) history, we have had our 'shady dealings' in the past. But for months now we have been steadily rebuilding, upon a solid foundation laid by Gunny and his board of Directors. We have suffered many setbacks along the road to recovery, but we are still here.
Now is the perfect time for you to apply to TTi. We need solid players to come in with their own ideas, their personalities, to help shape the flavour and direction of the corporation. Our newest recruits have all been of the highest calibre, and I can already truely call them friends (/me tips hat at Mantra, Nicholas, Verdone, Cutani to mention but a few). Help us, and yourself, achieve what we want. Join TTi today and help develop and enhance your EVE experience (shameless plugging I know )
Thanks again for the words of support, and for the record I have never enjoyed this game as much as I am now, with my friends at TTi and those we have met from other corporations too. ---------------- Came in like a mess, going out in style
