If he is not afk he will very well be able to warp out before that happens (could combine it with a bubbledrop though), if he is afk you have a very real possibility to get him though.

Edited by: Aramendel on 18/08/2007 09:04:38 They are uncounterable, that makes them overpowered. It does not matter at all what ships with them can or cannot do.
If you could probe them (which doesn't have to and shouldn't be easy) it wouldn't make cloaking ships useless. But you would have to actually invest *gasp* effort to fly them and be careful.
And this is coming from someone whose main spec is into cov ops and recons.

"drones to troll for them"? You probably mean sending drones there and back to try to decloak them?
Smartbombs to kill them =    You have to be a very braindead pilot for that to happen.
As for the other thing - I managed to evade a 10 person gatecamp with a cloaked t1 indy with only an AB. You just have to be smart where you are flying. The campers did suck thought too 
The little detail you miss here however that 24/7 gatecamps to stop someone from getting into a system is nothing even remotely realistic. And camps can be easily avoided with scanning & a scout.
