Figured I would have a bit of fun utilising some of the great videos done by others...
so i put together a little pastiche of others work with our veryown EG "overlay"...for my first ever attempt at a video.
"Here is the news..."
(download it to your PC - where its hosted will grind to halt trying to stream it)
Above link now goes to the re-edited version. Also added a slightly smalled zip file of a slightly lower-quality divX version (34NB zip file now)

(with voiceovers of reporters etc.. you could even use that site that people used with the java applet that could make Eve avatars talk  )

Nice fuggin bandwidth dude!
Haven't watched it yet, as it's downloading.. at 200kb/s. First time I've downloaded an eve vid faster than 120 lol
*edit* Just watched it. Very nice.  Now I'm gonna have that song stuck in my head all week.

I find this very interesting...would be nice to get vids as extension to articles...would have to build one hell of a team for reporters.
Shouldn't be hard to fetch Alliance representatives with their side...
Who would of thought of this role? News vid-casting of ingame events/actions.

Yep very nice. I would like to see a regular flow of these from the EVE GUARDIAN. I know its hard and it takes a lot of time but something based on the news is really different and you could take it to any lengths you desired which is pretty cool.
Nice vid and goodluck on some others if you do make more :)

-2.0 penalty for stealing 80% from other movies,
-1.0 for not really giving any "news"
idd say a 7.7 total score.... but offcourse leaving the last 2 out and looking mindless 9.5 to say the least

same ideas here, but take in consider he took a lot from other movies so itll be really hard to make something quite as awsome

Very nice, must admit I thought it was supposed to be a news show but the news themselves were just a tiny part in a very nice compilation of other videos. PR stunt for EVE-G, nice one.

Cool vid, you should make a real New cast one day, go find an event film it, edit all the best footage, and have like a new style layout and somone telling the story behind the pictures, now that would rock :D

I think you probably need to get the latest version of media player.
If you do have that and it still doesnt play then go and get the latest DivX player (www.divx.com)... its a freebie and a LOT of people are using it nowadays...
