I would like to request more battleship kill type missions. AFAIK their are only 2, consisting of zor-raven and the armageddon kill missions that amarr agents give. I work Gal agents, and haven't seen any mega/dom kill missions or the like. Not sure if this is in the works or not, just thought I would ask.

A good portion of the missioning community can't do battleship kill missions. They already have to decline enough missions as it is.
Until level 4 and 5 agents come out, I think the kill missions are already unfair.
As a suggestion, why don't you hit up 0.0 space. I'm not sure where, as I don't hunt out there often, but I hear that there are battleships out there.
-- TomB: End the speed-race. 1 propulsion mod allowed, make turrets affect ship attributes like +speed/+ab speed +agil for progressivly smaller/lighter turrets, -speed/-ab speed -agil for long-range. |

Edited by: pooti on 05/02/2004 01:13:47 that arma kill mission is pretty cool
i thought they were cruisers at first and almost charged into them with only like 80 pcs of ammo left

I like the idea of introducing more hard kill missions. However, the mission system has to be modified to allow player without a battleship to decline the mission without any loss in standing i.e. the harder missions are optional missions for player without the right equipment to tackle the missions.

Me and my buddy are having a blast with the Zor missions (when we get them). Its good to be doing something with a friend that doesnt involve staring at rocks or being podded _______________________________________________

Good idea.

The ones without proper ships and equipment should stick to lower-level agents or agents that only give courier missions and the like.
You can't have the best rewards if you're not ready to take the highest risks, right?
Personally it annoys me when the best level three agent there is sends me out to kill a few measly 6k rats.
And after last weeks patch BS NPCs were moved VERY deep in 0.0 space. Controlled by the large alliances.
So, more "Kill BS rat" missions, please. But why not, make it so that you can decline them without a standing hit. Everybody happy.

You'll find the kill missions get harder as you use higher level agents, and as your standing with the individual agent improves. | Join eve-webring.com to promote your site. |

Read the coming patch notes... By popular whining of the select few, Zor will be removed as a lvl.3 Mission.
Unbelievable. People have been whining that they want the need to use Corp members in Agent missions and tougher rats, and now that we have a tougher rat some complain again and it gets removed .
Keep Zor for lvl.3 Agent missions! The decline button isn't there for nothing.

No, no, no, no, no! Clear enough? The BS kill mission is rare enough as it is, that for the one time in 100 missions that it comes up you can decline it. You can regain the loss in two or three missions tops.
And just to make MY position clear, I have NOT had the BS kill mission, and if it DOES turn up I will be declining it as the best ship I have is a cruiser.
I wish people would stop trying to get something for nothing!
I don't think there should be MORE BS kill missions either. The very reason it is special, is because it is rare. ========================================= * I'm ALLOWED to cheat. I'm a STARSHIP. * ========================================= |

I totally agree. Even some cruiser swarms would be an improvement. As someone already mentioned if you don't want kill missions work for a different corp. CCP we need some excitement please!

While I agree that perhaps the Navy corps need some stronger kill missions, for those who enjoy doing combat.
I work for Core Complexion - A Minmater mining corp, which people have gotten the Zor mission from before it was removed. If we're going to have these types of missions, which I don't mind, at least make them corp specific. I don't think my manufacturing agent should give out kill missions I can't handle in a level 1 cruiser.
But he does!

I have been running Caldari Navy Agents for the last month/month+ (two level 3 agents, 4-8hours a day, 4 days a week) and haven't gotten a single BS kill mission. A friend of mine has half the standing that I do and he has gotten the BS kill mission 4 times.
I don't know but it just seems weird to me that he has a lower standing, is getting paid more AND is getting tougher missions.

Why is it that after doing level 3 agent missions in frigates (Probes and Breachers, with the occaisonal Vigil thrown in), I suddenly have to stop doing my level 3 kill missions? Prior to this patch I was having a good time killing 35k cruisers, now I am having a good time killing 50k - 75k cruisers, but I dont think I am up to the upper tier Damsel in Distress missions yet.
My point though, is that I have been successfully doing missions for my level 3 agents since October, why is it that suddenly I am no longer capable? Just because some folks like getting those +4 implants I have to suddenly not be good enough for agents that I have 8+ faction with? Give me a break, if this stuff was meant for harder ships to run, then I should never have been able to do them in the first place.
Developers need to implement the higher level agents if they are going to do this kind of stuff, instead of retroactively rewriting my character's history...

If you search through this forum you will find this commented upon many, many times... sadly, I can not remember what the answers were, and so can not offer a synopsis :|
Has your friend been using the same agent(s) as you?
