What has happened to getting lev 4 implants from lev 4 storylines???
I keep getting less than 2 mill ISK rewards!!!
You spend ages doing 16 lev 4s, then get a lousy storyline, over and over again - this sucks - bigtime

Instead of banning ISK sellers running courier missions to get storylines (and implants) CCP just decided to nerf their rewards.

I see, so have implants been removed as rewards altogether or will you still get them from time to time. If they've been removed, where do we get implants from now (other than buying them)? |

If implant rewards have been removed completely, this renders storylines an irrelivancy - they don't pay anywhere near as well as a regular lev 4 and you don't get LP. and I was getting worried about how much the Caldari were starting to hate me - I'd rather not cut off access to their space altogether. |

Implant storylines are still given but the +4's are now worth about half what they were before the LP store came around. Perhaps storyline rewards need to be rethought?
This doesn't render them irrelevant though, as the main reason to do storylines is for faction standing.

Personally, I wish the +4 implant mission "Materials for War Preparation" had been removed. It gives almost no faction standing increase, 0.8% or so compared to 7.5%+ most of the others do. "Transaction Data Delivery" is another weak one, at 2.4% or so.
Storyline missions are the main way to raise Faction standing, having 1 that pretty much doesn't do that at all really bites. And I get it almost 1/3 of the time.

Umm..I'm still getting implants from storylines....but now they aren't worth nearly as much as before anyway, and the main reason to do them still is to get faction standing.

I used to make some nice cash off storyline implants... So the changes do suck, but... Storylines are primarily for faction gain, so CCP has no qualms about gimping the isk payouts from them.

well the last 5-6 storyline i did all gave out hardwires and implants. Some worth 100 mil plus and some of mindlinks that are worth nothing.
