Alright, I think that I should first say that I don't really post much on these forums because after sitting around all day I'm too apathetic to type anything.
In the last few weeks, I've noticed these forums have had way too much content. All I want when I go to CAOD is baseless speculation, trolling, flamebaiting, and circlejerking. Instead I see battle reports, corp announcements, and well thought out posts by James 315. I mean, I can hardly remember the last time I was Rick Rolled. Needless to say, this is appalling.
I've played this game for about 6 months now, and I've never expected anything from the cesspit of users. I never get my hopes up from internet people, but at least I saw some good trolling.
Sure, there are other places to troll, but why would anybody want to post there when they could get huge overreactions from people who take their internet spaceships seriously.
Eve is a game that's played by older nerds who have too much time and money to spare from all parts of the world. They should know that it is natural for people on the internet to flame and troll every piece of text they see. I think that this rampant non-trolling should be heavily moderated by CCP/ISD/FBI and punish anybody not making a personal attack on another person.
It is obvious that we reap what we sew, and if we don't hew the weeds of non-trolling we'll never get the boutiful harvest of delicious troll related farming metaphor.

The OP brings reminds me of my days at university, weekdays strolling along the promenade, enjoying the crisp spring breezes while ruminating over the more impressive ideas postulated in the curriculum of that particular day, weekends spent idling along the Thames, resplendent in a candy-striped blazer and matching straw hat. Indeed, EvE is a lot like my university days, except, my campus is the internet, my courses are leveling up skills to fly newer and better ships, and BoB is an epidemic of chlymidia.

Off-topic. So far, it's hard to even know where the original topic was. A map or a compass might help, but you never know these days, do you? Anyhow, days are getting shorter again, which means longer nights. So we all get more sleep, right? Wrong, pal. We'll get less sleep because nature is cruel that way. I mean just look at hamsters and you'll see exactly how cruel.
