Tactic: Grab aggro of rats then AB away from them? Thoughts?

I personally prefer a bit more tank.(drop the omnidirectional for a cap recharger, trade a CCC for an armorpump) And drop most of the drone links(It is umentionably rare that you need a 120km drone range, especially as you have no sensor boosters and will be stuck with.. 84km targetting?) and get some tractors and salvagers instead. Did you just say that a Domi can't (as in cannot) run lvl 4 missions? You really did say that? I pray that was a typo on your part because if it wasn't, well, you are quite wrong. Domis do very well at lvl 4 missions. I myself only fly 2 ships...Myrmidon and Dominix. Myrm for lvl 3s and my Domi for lvl 4s.

I use this setup: 4x Dual 250mm Rails 2x Drone Link Augmentor 1x Omnidirectional Tracking CPU 4x Cap Recharger II 1x EANM II 4x Rat Specific Active Hardener IIs 1x DCU II 1x LAR II 2x Auxiliary Nano Pumps 1x CCC Works well on every mission I have run so far. ------------ Improvize. NoNah Unseen University	Posted - 2007.08.21 22:56:00 - [10] Generally, bring a few sentries, there are a few missions, (serpentis spies comes to mind) where I like to set it all up with wardens, some drone links and omnilinks, a few 425mm's and just snipe away the few needed targets and warp off. But... on most missions I want to stay close for salvage. Postcount: 886428
Tenpun M	Posted - 2007.08.22 08:22:00 - [11] you want to be able to run both LAR indefinately imo, without that ability you'll run out of cap in some missions and have to warp out. Better warping in at 0, turn on all your low slots and forget about them, then salvaging/looting the wrecks that pop around you. It's the best way to complete missions on an isk/time ratio: 1x gun for agro, 1x tractor beam, 3x salvager, 1x drone link 1x ab, 4x cap rech 2x LAR, 4x missions specific hardner, 1x cap relay rigs: 3x CCC If you are feeling lazy, set your low slots running, agro the room, release your drones and go afk.
Kathira Gallente Denial of Service	Posted - 2007.08.22 14:10:00 - [12] Btw. last I was in a level 4 mission dunno the name but it was that one where you'll have to bring some bottles of wine from a warehouse back ... and while you'll be on the way the pirates appear and attack you, there must be one or two rats wich used energy draining stuff. The cap of my Dom - with that fitting normally stable at around 50 % drops below 30 % ( then I noticed it and closed my guns and my AR until cap was stable over 30 %). After that I called my drones and headed out for refitting.

Seriously, my favorite L4 setup with my Domi involved using sentry drones... simply use the DCU and Omnis to get your drone range right with Wardens (40km base, easily up past 100km) then blast away... frigs insta pop in one volley, makes you feel really powerful. Tons of fun. There's some good setup threads in the forum if you search for them about these kinds of setups.

I like using the 3rd drone link, drones can be out of lock range anyways. I like having a domi AB because of the low cap use, zooming through missions doing 370 m/s isn't bad at all, you're faster than the fastest angel cruiser. Having the cap to perma run dual LAR II/best named is very useful, I just have different rigs on, I can do most missions with a single repper. Make sure you're cap stable, have at least 10 tech II lights on you to kill scrambling frigs and you should be ok. As for drones I like using 10x light, 5x heavy, tech II, 5x sentry, and repair drones to rep my drones.. All the stuff above does not necessarily reflect my corp, my alliance or even me..
