Seriously though I wish they'd just skip ahead and do world war 2 total war, or something.
Here's to hoping the AI isn't dumb like it is in medieval 2 total war.
That wouldn't really be interesting.. I mean, there are hundreds of WW2 games out there.
But theres not really that many WW2 RTS style games. The only one off the top of my head is empire earth and I hate playing against the computer in WW2 and up because then I gotta deal with 300million nuclear bombers.
I would like the idea of a RTS where you have to take certain points to get to your goal.
Try Rise of Nations on for size. Basically an (better, IMO) Empire Earth distant cousin. The key difference between RoN and the Age of Empires / Empire Earth RTS games is that "cities". once built, become permanent capturable points to fight over. Gives a real sense of territory to the whole affair. --------

According to a Creative Assembly employee in the TW forums, there is going to be about 50 factions total.
only 10 playable though
edit: wrong company...he works for CA not SEGA
Meh, it'll just be like Rome: go in to the .ini file and change "not playable" to "playable" --------
