according to many sites, and I believe also Wikipedia, the majority of people who play EVE have jobs in IT.
This made me wonder, what kind of jobs do the players in EVE have????
I'm a Sales Rep for the dutch branch of a fairly large US company.

I've worked as a support technician to network / field commissioning engineer for several Internet Service Providers in Sweden for about a decade before I moved to UK. Here I work as a network / security engineer within NHS.

No, no IT for me, I left that career behind a while ago. These days I'm a CNC laser operator (...but does it run linux? - why, yes it does! </slashdothumor>) at a nearby factory. Good job.

Hehe, nah, those are my friends. I'm primarily a lighter, so the first batch of trailers (~1 month ago) were all done in my levels. I make the game look pretty and sunshine-y. ;D

I am studying Sociology.
About to embark on second year.
I've been working at my old place of work for the summer doing my old job which is basically packing orders to send out by courier with a bit of forklift driving and admin thrown in.

Third-year Mechanical Engineering undergrad student, Canada. Currently I'm working in Tokyo though, troubleshooting GOTM (General Ocean Turbulence Model) software in an ocean science university lab. It's my first encounter with FORTRAN; it's been an adventure.
