according to many sites, and I believe also Wikipedia, the majority of people who play EVE have jobs in IT.
This made me wonder, what kind of jobs do the players in EVE have????
I'm a Sales Rep for the dutch branch of a fairly large US company.

I've worked as a support technician to network / field commissioning engineer for several Internet Service Providers in Sweden for about a decade before I moved to UK. Here I work as a network / security engineer within NHS.

luckily we won't be paying you very much, so after paying for eve and broadband you'll have precisely ú4 a week to spend on lamberts, mcdonalds and nappies for your seven kids.

how about writing up some eve backstory, or maybe a chronicle: if it gets published here on EVE you have a nice start to your portfolio!

No, no IT for me, I left that career behind a while ago. These days I'm a CNC laser operator (...but does it run linux? - why, yes it does! </slashdothumor>) at a nearby factory. Good job.

I work in a chemical weapons lab. We just do defensive testing though. Its really boring actually, but its cool to tell people, I guess.
