lol4fun The Crimson Federation	Posted - 2007.08.23 14:18:00 - [3] over the past few days i have rarely been able to get on tq during the day, at night its normally been fine but i dont fancy staying up til 5 every night just to play a few hours of eve. i can rarely log on during the day but i get disconnected after about 2 minutes, barely enough time to change a skill if i manage to even get into the game

If you see some of the results not showing up identification names or whatnot, its likely to be a problem at that hop. Bring it up to your ISP first off, if they cant, to CCP. - NPC Vendetta system, Local rehash, Probe decoys

Alazais Fairlight Corp FOUNDATI0N	Posted - 2007.08.23 16:46:00 - [14] Eclipse here too, and some problems. It seems to be mainly within a specific time period (afternoon to mid-evening uk time). Varies between being outright stuck on 'Checking Status' to regular drop outs. There have been other threads about this too - generally the 'bulk data' problems for Eclipse users also started around the time the others did. A ping trace for me reveals no abnormal issues or packet loss. Eclipse has a record of being a fine gaming isp so we need to get their (usually effective) tech support team on this - opening support tickets will help and give them an idea of numbers affected and perhaps which exchanges specifically. Somewhat worryingly I recall Tiscali users having a similar problem in peak hours a while back o.0

Some network devices have been set not to return any identity whatsoever, but are functioning normally. Personal routers do this often.

I couldn't get on last night either, and I work for them - so I won't let the issue be ignored! If anyone wants to help, if you open an online ticket for tech support headed 'Eve issue' and detail the times that you had the problem and what the problem was. I will get the chap looking into it (an eve player also) to keep an eye out for them. Cheers!
