in ge4 or any mission with waves, why does my friend get aggro if he just sits beside me without any activity.
This is getting really annoying....

Edited by: Lord WarATron on 23/08/2007 14:33:10 Because if he doing no activity, he should not be sitting becide you, and hence its the games way of telling you to do something
But some of these missions I notice have aggro spread randomly, or aggro going to the person who accepted the mission. Can you provide more details to the situation? --

Rub a few brain cells together man. It's pretty obvious why. Think before you post.

Don't bring him with you?
The new waves often aggro on someone other than the first person in. This sometimes stops the AI from pounding on an unbreakable tank in a totally stupid and futile manner. ------------

Have that person stay back rather then obitting you... or Warp in 1st, grab the aggro then have him warp in behind once the fight has started.

The aggro from a new wave seems to be fairly random. The only pattern I've noticed is that it seems to often go for the closest person/object. So drones that are near the new spawn can get aggroed instead of a ship. Since the spawn points aren't always in the same place, this makes it hard to keep someone away.
If you're running a friend in your mission that can't tank, just have them warp out if they get aggro, then warp back.

I've heard that a successful ECM cycle will put them on you. However, if you've got a second account in there and they're not doing anything, you should rework your strategy ------------------------------------ My statements are not those of my corp or of my alliance, nor anyone else.
