So how many hours a day do you n0bs 'waste' playing this game ? I'd say i play around 2.5-3hrs a day...weekends are a bit more though..

Average work night I would say around 3-4 hours, one day per weekend is usually a 8-10 hour EVE day, and the other 2 days (yes 3 day weekends every week, hooray for not having to work mondays) it can fluctuate between 0 and 10 depending on what we are doing 
So lets see that ends up being like 20-40 hrs a week... Gawdamn, I DO play too much

i would say i dotn waste any hours.
i enjoy the hours i play.
some of my friends asked me one time.
why do you use so many hours to waste on eve?
my reply: what is the difference on playing eve after work or you that watch tv in the same time period??
they didnt reply nor ask me again. haha

haha yea, thats true. My friend recently got fired from his job b/c he couldn't stop playing world of warcraft. He would stay up till 3 or 4 am and was supposed to be in at 8:30 in the morning. Thats when you know its too much!

when Im away from eve for an extended period: 2.5 hours a day on forums, during work hours
When I have access to eve I play after work: maybe 2 to 3 hours a day. I dont forum ***** when I have time for eve

Waste? Multitasking i say!
Usually when ratting, i also have a tv-show on on my laptop next to the screen. And when doing nothing in downtime / boring fleet fights, i make useless stuff. Like this signature, and an eve-online poll generator that i'll release to the public soon (don't have any fleet fights atm to finish the last bits

I'd say the average would be 4 to 6 hours a day for alot of people...some of the more addicted would be up in the 10 to 12 hour range. |

anyone remember/know how to do this?

two hours, give or take, too much of it wasted on travelling, whether in warp or normal flight
Can't they add map travel to the game already? other games have been doing it for years

If it's running, quit the EVE client and start the LogServer.
Select 'New Workspace' and login to your character.
Jump back to the LogServer, select 'Find' and search for logonMinutes.
This will give you a number, just divide by 60 and that's how many hours you've been playing since creation.
IIRC that's how it's done.

Oh I dont know realy. I'd say at most 2-3hrs day, +6-8 hours of sleeping. The rest of the time I'am not bothering about it, its boring compared to flying around finding something to do in the universe.

I find myself staying up that extra hour or so to finish training a skill before i train one that will take multiple hours/days...then i go to sleep.

6-8 hours daily (due to working night shift which doesn't start until 1800hrs)
And a bit more at weekend if not shooting playing football or driking (or a mixture of these).
I definately play too much :)

When I'm on holiday and have nothing else to do I play like 14-18 hours. On working days I play maybe one or two hours. Sometimes not playing for weeks at all.
