One thing that seems to be forgotton in this forum is how good eve actually is. Actually eve is a great game. Why? well for starters...
1. EVE is one of the best online games, and IS the best online space game.
2. ONE game server. No other game has this.
3. Fleet battles. Enough said 
4. graphics (when they work)
5. A dedicated dev team, who despite some peeps on here thinking otherwise, are doing a good job
And here's what i say to you non-believers...
If you dont like EVE dont play it
If think you could do better then be my guest

Yep.. EVE is an awesome game. Good on u CCP .. the GMs & Devs. Keep it up... Well Im loving it anyhow.

Well, we obviously have different ideas on what constitues a "good job"...
The DEV's seem quite clueless to me, more reactionary than anything. No planning or foresight seems to go into any decisions that are made. It seems like the game is run by a bunch of kids...

I disagree with some of your points but overall I think the game is pretty cool or I would not be here either. The 1 server thing is truly awesome.

I like the social part of the game. U get loads of friends ( except for viceroy) It's not a game for the shy 1's.

Good is a comparative. If you're comparing it to a one armed, thirteen year old, blind, boy scout with rabies then I would agree with you.
Somehow Microsoft can deliver a multi-million dollar application for about $89.00 and then give you free updates. Many call Microsoft bad.
Hell, I've already spent more than $89.00 on eve and it's not even 1/100th of what windows 98 is (as far as usefulness).
So again, good depends on where you're standing and what you percieve (or choose not to).
Eve devs have THE worst foresight I've ever seen from someone who calls themselves a developer. That and they don't don't test their code very well either.
As far as doing better, well maybe if I was in the game developement industry that would be pertinant. However I'm not and it isn't.

i play because im happy in my own lil world and am only here to collect ships..
yes the devs are idiots
yes the code is F'd up worse and worse with each patch
but i play because i like the game (and i have no life)
so keep up the crappy work CCP, doesnt hurt me any, ill still be here stripping the belts and building ships

Seems like lately.. Everytime I start up EVE. I just end up going and watching television..
weird.
I've actually played other games on my comp and forgot that I had EVE running in the background.
5 R&D Agents, 10months, Zero BPO Offers..

Aye. Without a doubt EVE is the ultimate afk-gaming experience. EVE can have some pretty exciting moments, but you can spend whole days logging on too EVE and then doing something else. Imo a pretty neat setup.
