Edited by: Heff on 09/02/2004 09:19:52 His alt (Rhiannan) was behind the huge Playboy theft back in September 2003. You will find his "admission" in the dated forum messages. Recently, Jax Deckard left his old self-created corp (Legio Nocturnem Vexillum) to hide among the good folks at British Space Corporation hoping that we would never attack him as he hides among the innocent. Some of you may have wondered why we made reference to Legio in our Playmate of the Year story which dealt with Rhiannan and others... now you know. Funny thing is: one of his associates recently told us that he even had the nerve to try to sell copies of our stuff right here:
http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=38900
We would like to take this opportunity to warn his new employer. We will continue to hunt him as necessary but will make it a point never to harm our friends at BSC as they were unaware of his exploits until now and have never harmed us in any way. We have a single target and hope you and the Eve public will aid us in his pursuit.
BTW: We have already put a hit contract out on him and he was nearly destroyed when he logged out to save his Raven in the Rancer system. I should have expected that from him. Pathetic.
Thank you,
Heff President, Playboy Enterprises [email protected]

If I help you find/get him Hef, can I be Miss February?
Joking aside, that sucks. Best of luck ruining his future career. Telling new employers about past thievery is cool. Since Eve has no way in game to punish criminals, corps must stick together. Cheers.

Yes, Corp thieves are utter scum, and should have their biomass reprocessed and used as fertalizer.
Next in scumminess are those that lie and fake evidence to try and get something that no longer belongs to them (and who, incidentaly, got a temp ban from eve for wasting the devs time with this). Isnt that right Heff? |

I also recall Heff's attempt to blame his own folly on bugs to get back what he lost, for wich he was banned. That kind of behavior do indeed come second in "lowest of low" -------------------------

Just beware of Jax Deckard, Rhiannan, and others of his kind.

The British Space Corporation are aware of the claims made by Heff on behalf of the Playboy Corporation, and are currently investigating the claims that have been made.
We will endeavour to report back all our findings publically, but several acts presumed to have been taken by Playboy have muddied the waters, so to speak.
Please, do bear with us. --

Whats worse? 1. Corp theives 2. Peope who make up bugs and blame a corp theft on a fictious game bug and proceed to get GM/dev intervention over the next two weeks, coverage in a CSM as to what is happening, and most importanally - taking those GM's/devs away from what they should be doing. All while knowing who actually took the items in a theft.
I vote 2.

Edited by: Moksha Raver on 08/02/2004 00:31:40 the larger questions is why has CCP done nothing to prevent this in the first place. With all of the economy, there should be more than an on and off switch to controlling what corporate members do. Perhaps a limitation on corporate withdrawls, or an approval process for some hangers. Anything is better than the way it is now. Because any single individual can rob you blind without fear of being tracked.

Hey,
I thought BSC were the good guys. I have only ever heard great things about them. Why would they want to harbour a Corp Thief, oh well I suppose the mighty ISK makes people abandon morals.

I've recently spoken with a few senior BSC members and they have been a pleasure to work with. I don't think they had any idea Jax was a thief when he joined. It's not the kind of thing you openly admit when you join a corporation. Whether or not they decide to act is their decision. I just wanted to warn everyone.

Heff,
Wasn't there a huge thread about this theft from PB. Can you post a ling to it here as if my memory serves me correctly, the guilty party admitted their guilt?

His alt (Rhiannan) basically admitted guilt. This is just to let everyone know that Jax Deckard is Rhiannan's alt. He would never admit to that.

Re-read the original post in this topic. The BSC were totally unaware of anything Jax may or may not have done. I would appreciate it if you took your statement about us bowing to the ISK back thank you. The BSC will NEVER have anything to do with hangar thieves, we've had it done to us as well.

Update.
The members of the Legio Nocturnem Vexillum corporation (Or at least, the vast majority of them) have left or been removed from the BSC. The characters 'Jax Deckard' and 'Steve Hubbard' (Jax's Alt) have both been deleted.

Not saying that BSC had...just thought they might. Nice to see that decisive action has been taken as you guys would have tarnished a seriously good rep otherwise.
