Sorry, but D2 only had 1 titan, and your masters were gracious enough to field at least two of their titans freely during your entire northern stay.
3. One of them got killed, second Erebus is now in ev0ke's hands and the third...well dunno, doesn't show up on entity's item list or anywhere in space.
At the time of MC's northern campaign, which is what the comment was about, D2 had 1 Titan.

Imho in the east, The Five was only stopped by rediculous small pos tower spam, when sovereignity mechanics were different, pos were cheap and filling haulers with pos towers for 40 mil isk each and dropping them right before downtime was enough to survive and bore your enemy to death. Dreads were rather new and rare, don't think The 5 had many, just remember The Enslaver's. POS were usually killed with battleships that time.
The 5 stopped, because the game mechanics was totally stupid and they were bored of it. They valued getting good fights higher than trying to get those last systems in Cache in the end, so they made an official announcement, declared that they gave up and didn't want the other regions that they controlled, either. People said: 'Lolz. The 5 are dead, The 5 are dead !' at least those, who didn't know the truth about what was going on. A few hours after that the 5 was already on the move to the North to go to war there and showed that they hadn't been weakened in the slightest. Then one of the biggest wars in EVE history break lose. They progressed nicely and spread fear again. Months later some corps left [5] (Shinra,M-Corp), while ATUK, Delta Team, Black Reign perhaps (?) and maybe some others kept continuing for a while. Then someday ATUK chose to become DICE and join BoB and the war in the North was over.
That's how remember it. In my eyes the story of 'The 5' is a story of success. Ok, they didn't conquer the whole east and they didn't conquer the whole north, but they 'rocked' anyway.
P.S. Yes, of topic, I know. Stop the smacking about such things and I won't start to tell long irrelevant stories. ___________ I've never been so serious as I am now. No, really. |

5ive LOST war in the south, and RAN to north. Yes, and we were killing small poses with battleships too. Our record - is 17 pos down \ 24 hrs.

But I bet you didnt have fun while doing it. In the end EVE is a game and people play games to have fun.
I've experienced POS spammage and its not fun, an effective means to an end, yes, but fun, not really.

CA is fine we never died.
Also I think when he says new he is making the comment that CA has only been around for about a year where BOB, RA, and others have been around for 4 years.
If I had to sum COW up its would look like this.
Talk more then they fight but are good at running gank squads. (Must be a North thing) I'm sure you will snap back with how good your are or how good your kill/death ratio was but all I see is an alliance that has no home and goes where BOB wants them.
Wormy - I always knew you were a spy but Xirt asked me to be nice to you because he liked you at one point. Now we can all see most of us VOTF members that called you out were right.

Ok, imho beaten by stupid pos mechanics at that time. Anyway, I was flying with them in their freighter ops, when they were evacuating their stuff from Cache. It was quite funny. As we moved out, some Northerners arrived to claim victory over the [5] too and smacked them hard, yet they were not brave enough to attack the convoy.
Same time forum was going wild after [5] officially admitting defeat. They thought 5 is pulling back to Curse and disbanding. Same day afaik some Northerners had declared war on 'The 5', wanting to give them the deathshot or whatever they thought.
Meanwhile in our freighter OPs back to empire, [5]'s directors where totally cool about what was going on. They were with their minds already in the next war in the north, discussing the timeline and the movement of assets and if the recent wardecs of the North would have any impact on the logistics and stuff like that. Pilots in the fleets were not like: 'We have lost, boohoo. Let's disband !' They were like: 'Nice, this pos crap is over. Let's go North, have some fun and kick some PA or whatever butt !''
So, ok, on the paper they lost the pos spam war, but think [5] gave a crap about it that day and the smack on the forums. With their minds they were already in the Northern Campaign and the fun that they would have and how stupid some of their enemies would look, if they notice that [5] is not dead, but knocking on their door in a few days. So although they officially lost, they behaved like they had birthday and get lots of nice presents.
Ok, enough of the fan talk. ___________ I've never been so serious as I am now. No, really. |

Looking at killboards looks like IAC lost a small fleet last night and yet again more towers. So my question is this - Will IAC spam more towers to hold off the destruction of there home or will they try and defend there home, get smashed and break apart over time?

Apparently mpire and fatal moved a modest fleet to help MC and it was nowhere near the numbers that they needed to bring in order to break the deadlock on the situation. |

Looks like they are bringing in new smackers from the North ... Too much talking, too little fighting. ;-)
isn't it funny how some people advocate both GTC<=>ISK trades and EVE being superior due to its cruelty and costly losses, when they use the former to circumvent the latter?

By "there home" ("their" btw.) you mean 49-? I cannot see anything tragic on the killboards, it's rather funny though that IAC losses have something like 8 different alliances participating. Looks like a lot of otherwise useless "me too" guys came to get on some killmails. :)
