As a fellow Drake pilot who runs lv4's (12mil sp) who is going onto bigger better things, aka the Nighthawk. Let me warn you, the Drake has the DPS of a wet paper towel.
Now that is out of my system let me go onto my experience I had with this little ship. The thing can tank, alot even full room aggro's in about every mission if you wanted it to. But if you choose to do that it wouldnt be uncommon to take anywhere from 5-15min to take out a single BS, trust me I use to do that. Drone interfacing and other drone skills will be mandatory since you have low DPS, and of course you need great missile skills as well. (This was the Tank, no Gank part)
But recently I been using more of a damage oriented setup by sacrificing more of my tank for more DPS. I droped 2 SPR's for 2 BCU's. I have a lot more of a bite compared to before, im able to destroy any BS's in the 30sec-2min range depending on which eniimey it is. I am probably close to being on par with Raven pilots for speed on SOME missions. But I still have better tank than they do and its easier to use a Drake since you dont have to worry about throttling the shield booster or cap usage.

This is just my setup if you interested in what I'm using. Use what you feel the most comfortable using, though if I may make a suggestion drop the Mid slot shield rechargers for some more shield resistance modules if you can, it work better in the long run.

Oh for the record im speced in the Drake, and have no experiences from the Raven personally except looking into it extensively. And forgive my grammer, im too lazy to put this in a spell check.
