`` Cowards die many times before their deaths The valiant never taste of death but once. ``
WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE, Julius Caesar
You're right you were 'Brave' you went in guns a blazin and such. Lets look at bravery throughout history and compare such events to the actions you have taken.
Lets start with the Alamo it's a good story and I know a bit about it but feel free to fill in the gaps if you know more, Wikipedia is my secondary source of info and general knowledge is my fact-checker.
Now people in this thread have used the battle of Thermopylae so lets take a look. With the invading Persians threatening the soverignty of the Greek cities they formed an alliance and decided to meet the invaders at Thermopylae with a combined force of 10,000 hoplites guarding the pass.
After fighting back multiple assaults the Persian force planned to attack from a pass that would bring them behind the Greek forces. The forces assigned to defend the pass retreated allowing the Persian forces to pass by. Hearing the news the Greek forces decided to abandon the pass and fall back to the Ithmus and make another stand there.
But if the pass was left open then Persian forces could reach Athens before the city could be evacuated. Thus 300 Spartans and 700 Thespians and 900 Laconian Helots(slaves) stayed behind to hold the pass long enough and allow for other Greeks to live as free men, knowing full well that they were going to die in the next attack.
When they were assaulted by the might of the Persian army they fought to the last man and took many Persians with them. This brave and violent act saved the citizens of Athens and the Freedom of the Greek states.
Now lets compare their actions to yours....
You went into a system widely known to be camped with an expensive ship, which you lost to their superior firepower. But by your own claim you managed to save your pod and dock at a station in system. Now at this point there are several facts to consider. 1: The forces arrayed against you are very powerful and even experienced alliances have to work at killing forces of these kind. 2: You are out of immediate danger and there is no danger to your alliance or corp mates. 3: There is no fleet assembled to attack these forces. 4: You do not have any ships fitted and ready nor in your hanger that could dispatch these forces in any manner.
Now from your testimony I've drawn these conclusions, please correct me if I'm wrong... 1: You feel that you've been dishonored being killed by superior forces in such a manner. 2: You firmly believe that every pilot in your alliance can and will jump from home to defend your honor. 3: You think that the alliance is ready and willing to follow leadership and has formed the proper forces and is ready to fight to defend your honor.
So you undock and charge back guns a blazing into a superior force, thinking that people will back you up. Despite the fact they have never said such a thing and, at the time of the incident have no capacity to help you in your plight of honor. You died fighting a battle in which you had no chance of winning to attempt to gain the honor lost when you were killed before.
Conclusion: Your bravery was for your own selfish peace of mind and served no purpose for your alliance or for your intrests in the game outside of your mind. Yet you expected them to feel hurt that their new member had his feelings hurt and rush to throw themselves at the chopping block. My question to you is: For what purpose do you serve your honor? Nothing was accomplished by your act of bravery and no purpose was served. It was mindless senseless death, similar to the way a child burns an ant with a magnifing glass on a sidewalk. The ant kept its honor but The End result was certain and served no purpose.

Originally by: Scius HAHAHAHA. Someone actually posted an entire essay. I am God. Rofl. ( Following this will be more senseless insults, to which I will laugh, backed by the actions of warriors and men throughout history. Men that earned you the ability to post on forums and live freely. You're making me a martyr. )
The point of my post was to prove you could not use logical or intelligent thought to defend yourself and your defense was foolish and stupid.
Your response has just proved how right I was....
