I don't really know what you're looking for in this discussion, because my Lord Hardin and I are saying the exact same thing; that we have not joined the Coallition, that we came to help a friend...and that we will continue to do so when requested. Yet you continue to talk about the issue.
I maintain that there is nothing left to discuss, save for your thinly vieled posturing. I'm still convinced that this "investigation" is a lot of pretty talk to gracefully back the Mercenary Coallition out of the threats that have been made here...threats that would be too troublesome to make good on...and to do so in a way that would invite apology from the CVA, reinforcing the invincible image Mercenary Coallition would like to maintain.
Let me say this very clearly: if Mercenary Coallition want a victory over the CVA, Mercenary Coalltion can come and take a victory over the CVA. Or you can write us off as "not worth the bother." Either way, as was previously mentioned, there's nothing more to discuss.

i'm Gallente, i didn't think the sound of "Amarr victor!" would ever fill my heart with respect and gratitude. it did yesterday, as CVA showed their guts, loyalty and skill, leaving many wrecks in their wake. i don't think CVA is ready to be domesticised anytime soon :)

As my Brothers have suggested, it was indeed never our goal to hold Providence. Unity was merely a battle platform from which we could strike at the slavers. It was a bold plan but in the long term it did not work. It fell, the Ushra'Khan did not. My father taught me that fortifications and strongholds are dangerous things. They present a big target and can quickly become a prison. Better to roam as you will with just what you need at hand. Of course my father was Thukker so that is to be expected.
We fight for the freedom of our people. We fight for the continuation of our way of life. We fight for our right to live as Matari. It is the goal that matters, not who raises their flag over the wreakage of the battlefield. If the Alliance come and by virtue of their war free my people then I will certainly celebrate and maybe even name my next born son Molle and my next born daughter Seleene.
Any skilled frigate pilot will tell you that you cannot break the shield on a Dominix but you can kill the drones that surround him. Our war continues, only our tactics change. The slavers offer us abuse and enslavement or death. We offer them death or the option to free all our people from slavery and to leave us be in exchange for peace. They prefer the former option and I care not how it is delivered.
Providence burns and I sense it will only burn brighter in the months to come. I do not think this is a shame, it is cause for celebration. We are vastly outnumbered, surrounded and outgunned yet still we fight. We are here by choice. Perhaps it is the Ushra'Khan who are the truly faithful. We believe in our cause, we believe in our people and we believe we shall all one day be free.
I wish the Alliance good hunting. I will sacrifce nine livestock at your arrival and break open seven barrels of my finest rum at your victory.

You got a point there, but we had to accept our defeat. Currently the Slaver/Freedom Fighter
powers are so damn unbalanced, that there is no realistic way for us to (re-)take and hold territory by our own.
We still hate them, we want to see their arrogance cut down to a more healthy level - but obviously this cannot be accomplished by us against their
double-our-numbers-blob.
Trust me, we tried it for many years now. (look up foundation date of these two alliances - and know that we fight each other from day one)
Now if someone else does the job, it may not be a victory for us -
but its a loss for them.
Its a bitter kind of satisfaction.
Certainly an improvement in regards of freedom for matari people...
(simply because it cant get worse than under CVA sovereignity)

Certainly we would have a serious number of pilots who would not like to be a spectator
but the rules of this game are not dictated by the freedom fighters anymore.
We have to accept this, and see what happenes. Could be a hoax after all.

I wonder who has fed you this line of rubbish zoolkhan.
Ushra'Khan may have lost Unity, but they are as strong, or as weak, as they choose to be. CVA does not and can not define this for you unless you mistakenly accept their attempt to do so.
The "rules of the game" may be whatever you wish them to be, provided you prepare and execute in a fashion that takes you from where you are... to where you wish to be.
Understand that, and anything is possible.

All should take note, Loyalty to the Amarr is rewarded.
We were happy to bring the cleansing light of Amarr in defense of IAC.
