We have prepared patch 1389 which is a release candidate for an TQ upgrade on Monday. Please test it against Chaos and tell us what you think.
Available at the Test Patch Page.
The patch notes have not been finalized yet but Traveler keeps a good compilation here on patch review

For the love of god, please leave the Damsel mission and Zor in the game.
In case you missed it, here is the petition in the Missions forum with the rest of the playerbase saying the same thing.

Standings colored brackets still broken in 1389: the only one that works is player to player -5 gives yellow bracket. player to player +5 does not work, nor does player to corp +5 and -5, corp to player +5/-5, or corp to corp +5/-5. ______________

does outlaw colouring work correctly now ? does one having such a red bracket actually has a sec-rating below -5.0 ?

A player shouldn't have a red bracket, unless your at war with them or they have such a nasty security status that your able to blast them anywhere in empire space.
Everything else should be yellow or orange IMO.

I'm with theothers on the brackets here, change the colour alllocation, RED should signify danager and ability to fire, as in CORP WAR or OUTLAW.
FYI, outlaw means sec lower than -5, unlike TQ currently autoscanner outlaw tab which means nothing of the sort.
Corp Green should outrank Gnag BLue, so in empire space you are aware of which ships you are allowed to splash dmaage and which you are not without concord ganking you.

I agree with all this.
Id rather gang outranked corp, and splash damage to gang *did not* cause concord to go ballistic. Too many people have lost too many ships over crappy splash damage to their friends.
What would be nice is if concord popped up a box on the splashed users neocom, asking if they require concord assistance. But now I'm just dreaming... .

Actually I think that drunken is on to something there about a popup box.....
I wonder if that could be done...or if CCP is willing to try it.

A pop-up box would just obscure the view temporarily, cause a pause in the gameplay of that player who gets it and generally be a real pain in the ass! Best to wait till they FINALLY fix the bugs

keep the green square for corp, and the blue square for gang. gang should have top priority over everything. if you want to have someone in ur corp show up as such when in gang, then change the corners of the blue squares to green. you can do the same for people you are at war with / have less than -5 security rating. although ganging them might not be a good idea. this way u can still see who is good and bad while still having the gang take priority. then everyones happy.
oh and please add the conquerable stations in this patch, with any luck in tactical related systems and not just randomly in 0.0 space.

Edited by: Helison on 08/02/2004 13:44:14 A few issues with overtakeable stations in 1389:
*) Docking cost per volume: Please allow lower costs than 0.1 ISK/m3 and donŠt allow to high costs. With 1000 ISK/m3 you would have to pay 10^9 ISK for docking, which would make a station unusable if the owner would leave the station. *) Please reset the docking fee and the docking restrictions when a station is overtaken. Otherwise it could be possible that nobody can dock to a station at all. Other approach: Exclude corpmembers of the owning corp from docking fees and docking restrictions.
Further wishes: *) Send an evemail to directors, when the station is attacked. *) Make the market or escrow missions available for overtakeable stations. *) Option, that you can buy/build/repair a bigger armor for the station. *) Info-window where you can check the exact shield/armor of the station, which you are defending.
Helison.
PS: Stop whining about Zor

Just btw, are there a Fix to mines?
I noticed that they are still 5mŠ after the chnanges to last patch and there is no Launcher at all who can hold 5mŠ actually.
Whould be nice to ballance the mines. I think they make to low dammage. at least 50-60 Points would be nice.
And what are about the last missing Blueprints? Mining Drones lv I?, Cargo Expander Lv I.
but i have to say.. nice Patch and it seems you dont have loose anytime.
Thanks to CCP

How do CCP anticipate that we, as players, can set up the docking tax, so that our corp mates, or alliance mates pay no docking fee, or even VERY little, compared with non-alliance, or non corp? Is that possible atm? I mean it should be.
Where does the docking tax go to? To the corp that took over the station?

I guess they go to the place where also the Corptaxes go now. An non-used MySQL Database entry.
I think it couldnt be bad if CCP take a eye on this.
