The amarr recons need a new bonus now that NOS has been nerfed to almost useless. My suggestion is a bonus to smartbomb damage and range instead of NOS/Neut.

I'm not sure about a ship that has a bonus to Drone Damage and to smartbombs tbh  ---

How about, No? Imho, the best bonus for the amarr recons would be a kind of counter nerf bonus, and allow you to drain your opponents cap for **% extra below yours per level. But, a smart bomb bonus? Neh, seems even more useless then the bonuses they have today.

Solution to the nosferatu 'problem' = give every ship a nosferatu resistance bonus and introduce nosferatu resistance modules and skills...
..then you could give Amarr ships a 5% bonus to nosferatus.

When they nerfed ECM they didn't swap the Caldari recons from ECM ships to something else. Why should they for Amarr?

because they have made it pretty much useless as a range and strength bonus, when you would be relying on yourself to lose cap in order for them to lose cap as well?
Imo, the best thing to do would be to ignore nos and give us a bonus to the neuts, make it require less cap for each recon ship level, that way we can still be slightly effective and not useless.

The curse HAS a bonus to Neuts, its ALWAYS had a bonus to neuts..
"Recon Ships Skill Bonus: 40% bonus to Energy Vampire and Energy Neutralizer range and 20% bonus to Energy Vampire and Energy Neutralizer transfer amount per level"
the second bonus has the same effect as increasing neu8t cap efficiency....so you destroy something on the order if 3.2 cap for every 1 cap you spend.

Jesus, the entire player base gets kicked in the PVP teeth, preverbally speaking, and the Amarr still whine like they are the only ones with their funbits on the block. Shut the f*** up.

But.. But.. But.. I can't sustain the cap in my NanoCurse so I can continue to use it as a solowtfpwnmobile anymore with Nuets!! Now I have to use it in it's intended role as a cap destroyer for multi ship groups.. Oh the angst!!!!!!

Dude, we have ships that have bonuses to these modules, that have now become next to useless. So, yeah, we are being effected a bit more then other races.

IIRC the recon ships had their bonuses changed to still be quite effective. (I might be waaay wrong tough, in that case, ignore this comment)
Don't get me wrong tough, i'm all for the nos nerf. It was overpowered. BUT, since the amarr recon bonus has become quite useless, why not change it. (that was what this thread was about right?)

Bigger cap means you can blast your opponents cap to nothing and still have some left for you.. This would keep the nanocurse viable as with max cap skills you could nuet your target to death and still keep the MWD running for enought time to kill him with drones and gangmates..
